Claims (7)
- 마주 보고 있는 양쪽의 편광판,상기 편광판 중 어느 하나의 안쪽면에 부착되어 있는 보상 필름,상기 편광판 중 나머지 하나의 안쪽면과 상기 보상 필름의 안쪽면에 부착되어 있는 한 쌍의 투명 기판,상기 두 투명 기판의 안쪽면에 각각 도포되어 있으며 상기 각각의 투명 기판을 두 개의 미소 영역으로 나누는 수직 배향막,상기 수직 배향막 사이에 주입되어 있으며 전압이 인가되지 않을 때 수직 배향된 액정과 선경사각을 가지는 액정을 포함하고,상기 액정은 전압이 인가될 때 상기 각각의 미소 영역에서 서로 다른 방향의 선경사각을 가지는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 보상 필름은 단축성 보상 필름인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 보상 필름은 이축성 보상 필름인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 보상 필름은 음의 지연치(retardation)를 갖는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,상기 보상 필름은 상기 액정 물질의 복굴절에 의한 지연치와 상기 보상 필름의 음의 지연치(retardation)의 차가 상기 액정 물질의 복굴절에 의한 지연치의 40%를 넘지 않는 액정 표시 장치.
- 마주하는 두 개의 투명 기판 상에 각각 수직 배향막을 형성하는 단계,상기 투명 기판 상의 각 화소는 두 개의 미소 영역으로 나누어지며 상기 두개의 미소 영역 중 한 개의 영역에만 선편광된 자외선을 1차 조사하는 단계,상기 1차 조사 방향과 방위각이 어긋난 방향에서 자외선을 2차 조사하는 단계,상기 각 투명 기판의 미소 영역의 경계선이 서로 90도의 각도를 이루도록 조합하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 화소에 전압이 인가될 때 상기 두 미소 영역의 액정 분자의 선경사 방향이 어긋나도록 형성하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에서,상기 자외선의 2차 조사 방향은 상기 1차 조사 방향과 180도의 각을 이루는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
