Description
Claims (8)
- 광 산란 도광체로 이루어지는 도광판과, 상기 도광판의 하나 이상의 측면방향으로부터 광을 공급하는 광원수단과, 상기 도광판의 이면을 따라 배치된 반사체와, 상기 도광판의 광취출면을 따라 배치된 프리즘 시트를 구비한 면광원장치에 있어서,상기 프리즘 시트는, 각각 다수의 프리즘열이 형성된 외측 프리즘면과 내측 프리즘면을 갖고,상기 내측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열은, 상기 광원수단으로부터의 광 공급방향과 직교하는 방향으로 연재되어 있는 동시에, 상기 도광판으로부터 출사된 광속의 우선 전파방향으로 전파하는 광을 상기 프리즘 시트 내부에서 거의 정면방향으로 도입하는 프리즘 정각(頂角)을 갖고,상기 외측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열은, 상기 광원수단으로부터의 광 공급방향과 평행한 방향으로 연재되어 있는 동시에, 상기 프리즘 시트 내부에서 거의 정면방향으로 도입된 광선을 상기 광 공급방향과 거의 직교한 방향으로 시프트시킨 후에 상기 내측면을 향해 역진(逆進)시키는 프리즘 정각을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 면광원장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 도광판은 쐐기 형상의 단면을 갖고 있고, 상기 광원수단이 상기 도광판의 두께측 단면을 따라 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 면광원장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 외측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열의 프리즘 정각이 대략 90°인 것을 특징으로 하는 면광원장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 외측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열의 프리즘 정각이 70°∼ 130 °의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 면광원장치.
- 액정 패널과 이 액정 패널의 백 라이팅을 위해 배치된 면광원장치를 구비한 액정 디스플레이장치로서,상기 면광원장치는, 광산란 도광체로 이루어지는 도광판과, 상기 도광판의 하나 이상의 측면방향으로부터 광을 공급하는 광원수단과, 상기 도광판의 이면을 따라 배치된 반사체와, 상기 도광판의 광취출면을 따라 배치된 프리즘 시트를 구비하고,상기 프리즘 시트는, 각각 다수의 프리즘열을 형성한 외측 프리즘면과 내측 프리즘면을 갖고,상기 내측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열은, 상기 광원수단으로부터의 광 공급방향과 직교하는 방향으로 연재되어 있는 동시에, 상기 도광판으로부터출사된 광속의 우선 전파방향으로 전파하는 광을 상기 프리즘 시트 내부에서 거의 정면방향으로 도입하는 프리즘 정각을 갖고,상기 외측 프리즘면에 형성된 프리즘열은, 상기 광원수단으로부터의 광 공급방향과 평행한 방향으로 연재되어 있는 동시에, 상기 프리즘 시트 내부에서 거의 정면방향으로 도입된 광선을 상기 광 공급방향과 거의 직교한 방향으로 시프트시킨 후에 상기 내측면을 향해 역진시키는 프리즘 정각을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 도광판은 쐐기 형상의 단면을 갖고 있고, 상기 광원수단이 상기 도광판의 두께측 단면을 따라 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 외측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열의 프리즘 정각이 대략 90°인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 외측 프리즘면 상에 형성된 프리즘열의 프리즘 정각이 70°∼ 130°의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이장치.
