Claims (6)
- 한 쌍의 기판사이에 벤드 배열로 배향된 액정층 및 상기 각 기판의 외측에 설치된 위상보상판을 구비하며,상기 액정층과 상기 위상보상판을 통과하는 광의 리타데이션은, 표시에 관계하는 광의 최소파장의 1/2 이하로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정층 내의 액정분자의 복굴절율은 0.16 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 최소파장은 컬러 표시에 관계하는 각 컬러 중에서 상기 가장 단파장의 컬러에 기초를 둔 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 광의 상기 최소파장은 청색에 기초를 둔 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 광의 상기 최소 파장은 380 nm 과 488 nm 사이의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 광의 상기 최소 파장은 380 nm 과 488 nm 사이의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
