Abstract

본 발명은 균형과 불균형 오디오 전송선들과 호환되는 커넥터에 관한 것으로, 숫커넥터의 세개의 대응하는 연결요소들과 짝을 이루도록 맞추어진 세개의 실린더형 동축 콜릿들로 구성된 암커넥터를 포함하는데, 숫커넥터는 기존형식(PIN RCA)의 일발적인 불균형 숫커넥터의 것들과 완벽하게 똑같은 크기의 모양을 갖는 실린더형 외부콜릿과 중앙핀을 가지고 있다. 이 중앙핀과 외부콜릿 사이에 연결의 제 2 "열"전극을 구성하는 제2 원형콜릿이 삽입되는데, 제 1 "열"전극은 중앙연결요소들로 나타내어지고, 반면에 외부콜릿들은 접지에 대한 연결을 구성한다.

Description

균형과 불균형 오디오 송전선들과 호환되는 커넥터
본 발명의 목적물은 균형과 불균형 오디오 전송선들과 호환되는 커넥터이다. 새로 형식의 커넥터의 장점들을 강조하기 위해서, 오늘날 음악기기에 오디오 신호 전송용으로 사용되고 있는 두개의 주 시스템을 간략히 설명하는 것이 적절하겠다.
가장 단순하고 저렴한 시스템은 일반적으로 알려져 있으며 이 분야의 전문가들이 "불균형 시스템"이라고 일컷는 것이다. 이 시스템에서 신호연결들은 동축 케이블들을 이용하며 이루어지는데, 이 케이블들은 보통은 스크린으로 둘러싸이는 중앙 도선으로 구성된다; 제 1 도선은 신호 전송용으로 사용되고 "열전극(hot pole)"이라 불리우며, 반면에 스크린은 접지로 사용되며 "냉전극(cold pole)"이라 불린다. 이런 동축 케이블들이 단부에는 주로 하이-파이(HI-FI) 분야에 사용되는 "PIN RCA"라고 불리우는 형식의 또는 "잭(Jack)"이라 불리우는 형식의 동축 커넥터들이 있다.
이런 "불균형" 시스템들의 주요 단점은 이것들이 소위 윙윙거림과 소음의 제거를 허용하지 않는다는 것이다. 사실, 악기들, 또는 큰 음악기기와 같은 전문 오디오 분야에서, 신호전송은 항상 "균형시스템"을 이용하여 이루어지고, 그결과 위에서 언급한 소음이 없게 된다.
또한 "쓰리웨이"라 불리는 "균형시스템"에서는, 사용되는 연결 케이블들이 세개의 동축도선들, 즉 두개의 "열" 도선들(신호전송용)과 접지용인 나머지 하나로 구성된다.
물론, 이런 케이블들의 터미널 커넥터들은 또한 세개의 전극, 즉 두개의 "열" 전극과 한개의 접지 스크린 전극을 가져야 한다.
전류를 발생시킬때, 균형 커넥터들은 불균형 커넥터들보다 훨씬 크다. 이것은 균형 커넥터들이 높은 비용은 제쳐 놓고서라도, 장치들이 순전히 미적인 이유때문에 항상 더 콤펙트한 크기를 갖는 하이파이와 같은 광범위하게 소비되는 오디오분야들에 적당하지 않은 이유이다.
본 발명의 목적은 작은 크기와 저렴한 가격의 커넥터를 만드는 것인데, 이 커넥터는 균형과 불균형 전송선들과 호환된다.
이런 견지에서 우리는 이미 존재하고 보통 불균형선들(PIN RCA라 불리는)용으로 채택되는 것과 똑같은 모양과 크기를 갖지만, "균형"선들과 함께 사용할 수 있도록 해주는 제 3 전극이 제공되는 커넥터를 디자인했다.
특히 이 새 디자인의 암커넥터는 "불균형" 선들에 사용되는 숫커넥터들 뿐만아니라 새로운 디자인의 숫커넥터를 수용할 수 있는 반면, 새로운 디자인의 숫커넥터는 "불균형"" 선들 용도는 현재 사용되는 암커넥터들에 삽입될 수 없다.
암커넥터들은 항상 장치에 설치되고, 반면에 숫커넥터들은 신호 전송 케이블들에 설치된다는 사실을 고려할때, "균형기능"에 적당한 기구에 새로운암커넥터들을 설치함으로써 "불균형" 형태에서 또한 그 기능이 허용되어 이 암커넥터는 두개의 전극(PIN RCA)을 가지고 있는 한개의 공통 커넥터의 숫컷을 수용할 수 있다.
다른 한편으로, 새로운 디자인에 따른 숫커넥터는 두개의 전극을 가지고 있는 암커넥터내로 삽입될 수 없는데, 이 암커넥터는 보통 "불균형" 방식으로만 작동할 수 있는 장치에 설치된다.
더욱 명확히 설명하기 위해서, 단지 도시적일뿐 제한할 목적이 아닌 동봉된 도면들을 언급해가며 본 발명을 설명하겠다.
제 1 도에서, 본 발명의 숫커넥터(A)는 커넥터의 실린더형 본체와 관련하여 축위치에 놓인 금속핀으로구성된 "열"전극(1A)을 포함한다.
이 "열"전극(1A)은 스크린 역할을 하며 "접지"에 연결되는 금속의 실린더형 콜릿(collet, 2A)으로 둘러싸인다.
전극(1A)과 콜릿(2A)의 상반되는 위치, 크기와 모양은 기존 형식의 평범한 "불균형" 숫커넥터의 것들과 완벽하게 일치한다.
"열"전극(1A)의 바깥쪽과 콜릿 안쪽에는 제 2 금속 콜릿(3A)이 있는데,이것은 발명된 쓰리웨이 커넥더의 제 2 "열전극"을 구성한다.
분명히, 신호전송 케이블들은 열전극(1A 와 3A)에 연결되어야 하게, 반면에 접지케이블은 콜릿(2A)에 연결되어야 한다.
제 2 도에서 본 발명의 암커넥터(B)는 세개의 실린더형이며 동심원적인 콜릿들을 가지고 있는데, 이 콜릿들중 내부콜릿(1B)과 중간콜릿(3B)은 두개의 "열전극"을 구성하고, 반면에 외부콜릿은 접지용이다.
이 세개의 동심원 콜릿(1B, 2B, 3B)의 위치, 크기, 모양은 숫커넥터(A)의 대응하는 요소들(1A, 2A, 3A)과 완벽하게 짝을 이룬다.
특히 암커넥터(2B, 3B)의 콜릿들은 숫커넥터의 대응하는 콜릿(2A, 3A)내로 완벽하게 맞추어지고, 반면에 숫커넥터의 핀(1A)은 암커넥터(B)의 내부콜릿(1B)내에 완벽하게 미끄러진다(제 3 도 참조).
제 4 도는 "불균형"형식(PIN RCA)의 정상적인 숫커넥터(C)가 본 발명의 암커넥터(B)내로 어떻게 삽입되는가를 나타낸다. 비록 이경우에 콜릿(3B)이 대응하는 요소와 전혀 짝을 이루지 않아도 말이다.
다시 말해서 이경우에 신호전송은 암커넥터가 설치되는 장치가 "균형"기능을위해서 설정되었더라도 "불균형"일 것이다.
제 1 도는 본 발명의 숫커넥터의 부분단면도이다.
제 2 도는 본 발명의 암커넥터의 부분단면도이다.
제 3 도는 서로 결합된 본 발명의 숫커넥터와 암커넥터를 나타낸다.
제 4 도는 기존형식(PIN RCA)의 불균형 숫커넥터와 결합된 본 발명의 암커넥터를 나타낸다.

Claims (3)

  1. 균형과 불균형 오디오 전송선들과 호환되는 커넥터에 있어서, 이것이 중앙핀(1A)과 외부의 실린더형 콜릿(2A)으로 구성된 숫커넥터(A)를 포함하고, 그사이에 제 2 금속콜릿(3A)이 삽입되며 핀(1A)과 콜릿(2A)의 상반되는 위치, 크기, 모양이 기존형식(PIN RCA)의 일반적인 숫 "불균형" 커넥터(C)의 외부콜릿과 중앙핀의 것과 완벽하게 일치하는 것이 특징인 커넥터.
  2. 균형과 불균형 오디오 전송선들과 호환되는 커넥터에 있어서, 이 콜릿들(2B와 3B)은 숫커넥터(A)의 대응하는 콜릿들(2A 와 3A) 내로 완벽하게 맞추어지도록 하고, 반면에 숫커넥터의 핀(1A)은 암커넥터(B)의 내부콜릿(1B)내로 완벽하게 맞추어지도록 크기지워진 세개의 동심원적인 실린더형 콜릿들, 즉 내부콜릿(1B), 외부콜릿(2B), 중간콜릿(3B)으로 구성된 암커텍터(B)를 포함하는 것이 특징인 커넥터.
  3. 앞항들에 따른 균형과 불균형 오디오 전송선들과 호환되는 커넥터에 있어서,
    - 중앙핀(1A)과 중앙콜릿(1B)이 연결의 제 1 "열"전극을 구성하고;
    - 중간콜릿(3A)과 중간콜릿(3B)이 연결의 제 2 "열"전극을 구성하고,
    - 외부콜릿(2A)과 외부콜릿(2B)이 연결의 접지를 구성하는 것이 특징인 커넥터.
