Abstract

本发明为关于一种可匹配平衡与不平衡音频传输线的连接器,其包括一由三个同轴圆筒金属环的母连接器,以配合公连接器的三个相应连接组件连接,此母连接器有一中心销及一圆筒外部金属环,完全相同于那些已知型式(PIN RCA)的一般不平衡公连接器的尺寸及外形。介于此中心销及此外部金属环之间被插入有一第二圆形金属环,构成连接器的第二“热”电极,其第一“热”电极为由中心连接元件代表而该外部构件则构成接地。

Description

可匹配平衡与不平衡音频传输的连接线器
本发明涉及为一可匹配与不平衡音频传输线的连接器。
为更佳地强调出此新型连接器所提供的优点,我们发现适合以现今使用在音响设备中供音频讯号传输的两种主要系统予以详细说明。
最简单及价廉的系统为众所周知的由此领域专家称之为的“不平衡系统”。在此系统中该讯号连接被认知为同轴电缆,此电缆通常由一中心导体外围绕一网罩所组成,该第一导体为供做讯号传输及被称之为“热电极,而该网罩被做为接地及被称为“冷电极”。
在此同轴电缆的端部为同轴连接器,为俗称“PIN RCA”型式(主要使用于高保真(HI-FI)领域)或被称为“接头”的型式。
这些“不平衡”系统的主要不便之处在于它们无法消除所谓的嗡嗡声及杂音。事实上,在专业音频领域内,如乐器或大型音乐设备,讯号传输总是以一“平衡系统”完成,此结果即可免除前述杂音。
在“平衡系统”中,亦称为“三向”,使用的连接电缆为由三同轴导体所组成,两“热”导体(供讯号传输)及一第三导体供接地。
当然,此电缆的终端连接器亦须具有三电极,两“热”电极及一供接地网置的第三电极。
必须说明的是,在现今产品中,平衡式连接器远多于不平衡连接器。除了因价格高之外,此即为它们无法适用于较宽广的消费性音频领域之故,在高传真领域,单纯为美学理由,装置倾向于具有更小型的尺寸。
本发明的目的为产生一小尺寸及低廉的连接器,其可匹配平衡与不平衡传输线。
以此观点,我们设计一连接器,具有与该已存在及经常地使用于不平衡线(传统称为PIN RCA)完全相同外形尺寸,但其亦提供有一第三电极,以同样可供“平衡”线使用。
本新设计的母连接器的特点,为如同现今使用于“不平衡”线的公连接器般可接收新设计的公连接器,而该新设计的公连接器无法插入该现今使用于“不平衡”的母连接器上。
事实之考虑为,该母连接器通常为安装在装置上,而公连接器安装在讯号传输电缆上,亦即安装该新型母连接器有一仪器上可适于“平衡功能”,亦容许其操作在“不平衡”型式下,亦即此母连接头可接收有两电极(PIN RCA)的一般连接器的公连接器。
换言之,一依据该新设计的公连接器绝对无法插入至通常为被安装在仅有“不平衡”操作性能的装置的具有两电极的母连接器上。
为能清楚解释本发明,将参照附图进行说明,但其仅为用以说明之目的而非限制,其中:
图1揭示本发明的公连接器的局部剖面。
图2揭示本发明的母连接器的局部剖面。
图3揭示本发明公连接器及母连接器相互耦合。
图4揭示本发明的母连接器耦合至一传统型式(PIN RCA)的不平衡公连接器。
参见图1,本发明的公连接器(A)包括一第一“热”电极(1A),包含一金属销,此金属销为置于相对于连接器的圆筒体轴向位置。
此“热”电极(1A)被一金属圆筒环(2A)所围绕住,其当做一网罩操作及连接至“地”。
该电极(1A)及环(2A)的相互位置、尺寸及外形为完全地配合那些已知型式的一般“不平衡”母连接器(PIN RCA)。
该“热”电极的外侧及该环的内侧位置,有一第二金属环(3A),以构成前述发明的三向连接器的第二“热电极”。
显然,讯号传递电缆必须连接至热电极(1A或3A),而接地电缆必须连接至环(2A)。
参见图2,本发明的母连接器(B)有三圆筒形及同心环,而其中该中心环(1B)及该中间环(3B)构成该两“热电极”,而该外环供接地。
这三个同心环(1B、2B及3B)的位置、尺寸及外形为完全地搭配该公连接器(A)的相应元件(1A、2A及3A)。
如图3所示,该母连接器的环(2B及3B)特别完全地插入对应于该公连接器的环(2A及3A),而该公连接器的销(1A)完全地滑动插入至该母连接器的内环(1B)。
图4显示一“不平衡”型式(PIN RCA)的一般公连接器(C)如何可被插入至本发明该母连接器(B)内,当然在此例中的环(3B)无法匹配任何对应的元件。
更者,在此例中,即使该装置的母连接器为安装及设定在“平衡”功能下,该讯号传输将为“不平衡”型式。

Claims (3)

1.一种可匹配平衡及不平衡音频传输线的连接器,其特征在于:包括一组合有一中心销(1A)及一外部圆筒环(2A)的公连接器,介于其间插入有一第二金属环(3A),该销(1A)及环(2A)的相互位置、尺寸及外形为完全地对应于中心销以及那些已知型式(PINRCA)的一般“不平衡”公连接器(C)的外环。
2.一种可匹配平衡及不平衡音频传输线的连接器,其特征在于:包括一组合有三同心圆筒环的母连接器(B),为一中心环(1B)、一外环(2B)及另一中间环(3B),尺寸界定为该环(2B及3B)完全地配合插入至该公连接器(A)的对应的环(2A及3A),后者的销(1A)为完全地配合插入至该母连接器(B)的中心环(1B)。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的可匹配平衡及不平衡音频传输线的连接器,其特征在于:
该中心销(1A)及该中心环(1B)构成该连接器的第一“热”电极,
该中间环(3A)及该中间环(3B)构成该连接器的第二“热”电极,
该外环(2A)及该外环(2B)构成该连接器的接地。
