Claims (6)
- 강유전체층의 일측면상의 제 1세트의 전극 부재와 상기 층의 타측면상에서 상기 제 1세트의 전극 부재와 교차하는 제 2세트의 전극부재 사이의 겹침영역에 의해 한정된 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는 방법으로, 선택신호와 일치하는 데이터 부분, 상기 데이터 부분이 전하-평형을 이루도록 하는 전하-평형 부분 및 추가 부분으로 구성되는 선택 데이터파형을 상기 제 2세트의 전극 부재에 동시에 인가함으로써 상기 메트릭스내에 기입될 정보에 따라 해당 화소의 선택적인 스위칭에 영향을 주도록 단일 극성 선택신호를 하나씩 인가하기 전에 블랭킹 신호를 상기 제 1세트의 전극부재에 인가하여 블랭킹에 영향을 주는 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는 방법에 있어서,상기 제 2세트의 임의의 전극에 인가된 연속 데이터 부분들 사이에서 발생하는 각각의 단일 추가 부분 또는 추가 부분쌍이 상기 연속 데이터 부분사이의 관계에 의하여 영향을 받고, 그자체적으로 전하-평형을 이루며, 적어도 2개 넌-제로 부분을 포함하고 및 상기 메트릭스에 기입될 정보에 의존하여 상기 해당 화소의 스위칭에 도움을 주거나 또는 방지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 추가 부분 또는 인접한 추가 부분의 쌍은 제로 부분을 구비하지 않는것을 특징으로 하는 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는 방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 블랭킹된 상태로부터 화소의 스위칭은 선택 신호에 대해 반대극성을 가진 데이터 부분에 응답하여 이루어지고, 스위칭에 영향을 주는 데이터 부분에 인접한 추가 부분의 적어도 일부는 상기 데이터 부분과 동일한 극성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 블랭킹된 상태로부터 화소의 스위칭은 선택신호와 동일한 극성을 가진 데이터 부분에 응답하여 이루어지고, 상기 파형의 데이터부분에 인접한 각 데이터 파형의 추가 부분의 적어도 일부는 상기 데이터 부분의 극성과 반대 극성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는 방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 각각의 데이터 파형의 상기 데이터 부분, 전하-평형 부분 및 추가 부분은 동일한 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 어드레싱하는 방법.
- 강유전체층의 일측면상의 제 1세트의 전극 부재와 상기 층의 타측면상에서상기 제 1세트의 전극 부재와 교차하는 제 2세트의 전극부재 사이의 겹침영역에 의해 한정된 쌍안정 화소의 메트릭스를 갖는 광 변조기; 및 상기 제 1세트의 전극부재 각각에 연결되는 제 1세트의 출력과 상기 제 2세트의 전극부재 각각에 연결되는 제 2세트의 출력을 가지며, 상기 제 1세트의 각 출력에서 신호 선택에 따른 블랭킹 신호 및 각 선택신호와 동시에 상기 제 2세트의 각 출력에서 선택신호와 일치하는 데이터 부분, 상기 데이터 부분이 전하-평형을 이루도록 하는 전하-평형 부분 및 추가 부분으로 구성된 선택 데이터 파형을 발생시키도록 배치된 어드레싱 파형 발생기를 포함하는 광 변조기 장치에 있어서,상기 발생기는 상기 제 2세트의 상기 각각의 출력에서 연속 데이터부분 사이에서 발생하는 각각의 단일 추가 부분 또는 추가 부분의 쌍이 자체적으로 전하-평형을 이루고 적어도 2개의 넌-제로부분을 포항하는 방식으로 상기 데이터 파형을 발생시키도록 배치되며, 상기 제 2세트의 각 출력에서 연속적으로 발생된 데이터 부분간의 관계에 응답하여 겹쳐지는 전극에 인가된 선택신호 및 데이터 파형에 대한 화소의 응답에 도움을 주거나 방해하도록 상기 연속적으로 발생된 데이터 부분사이에 배치된 추가 부분을 구성하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 변조기 장치.
