Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 기판, 상기 기판 위에 형성된 다수의 볼록/오목부들, 및 상기 볼록/오목부들 위에 형성된 얇은 반사막을 포함하는 반사판에 있어서,상기 볼록/오목부들 각각은 연속적인 곡면을 적어도 부분적으로 포함하며,상기 반사판의 표면에서의 경사도가 2°미만인 상기 기판의 부분들의 전체 면적은 상기 기판의 전체 면적에 대해서 약 40% 이하인 반사판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반사판의 법선 방향에 대해서 제1 입사각을 갖는 입사광에 의한 반사광의 강도가, 정반사 방향에 대해 약 -45°내지 +45°의 시각 범위 내에서, 기준 강도에 대해 약 60% 이상이고,상기 기준 강도는 표준 백색판에 법선 방향에 대해 제2 입사각으로 입사된 광의 법선 방향의 반사 강도이며,상기 제1 입사각 및 상기 제2 입사각은 실질적으로 서로 동일한 반사판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 볼록/오목부들은 감광성 수지로 형성되는 반사판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 볼록/오목부들은 무기 산화물 및 감광성 수지로 형성되는 반사판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 볼록/오목부들은 미세한 입자들 및 감광성 수지로 형성되는 반사판.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 반사판을 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 기판 및 상기 기판과 상기 반사판 사이에 삽입된 액정 층을 더 포함하며,상기 액정 층은 게스트-호스트형 액정 재료를 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 액정 재료의 복굴절율(△n)은 약 0.15 이하이며,상기 액정 재료의 유전 상수 비등방성(△ε)은 4<△ε<12를 만족하며,상기 액정 재료의 트위스트 각은 약 180° 내지 360°의 범위 내로 설정되며,상기 기판, 상기 반사판, 및 상기 액정 층으로 구성되는 셀의 두께는 약 3 내지 10㎛의 범위 내에 있는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 3 가지의 서로 다른 색으로 착색된 부분들을 포함하는 컬러 필터를 더 포함하며,상기 착색 부분들 중의 인접해 있는 부분들 간의 두께 차이는 약 0.3㎛ 이하인 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 볼록/오목부들은, 상기 기판 상에 형성된 감광성 수지 층 내에 다수의 원통형 침하부들(depressions)을 형성하고 상기 다수의 원통형 침하부들을 가열함으로써 형성되는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
