Claims (18)
- 표시영역을 포함하는 제 1영역을 형성하는 제 1폴리머함유액정영역; 및 상기 제 1영역이외의 제 2영역을 포함하는 제 2폴리머함유액정영역을 구비한 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제 1폴리머함유액정영역의 폴리머 및 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역의 폴리머가 각각 서로 다른 네트워크구조를 지닌 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1폴리머함유액정영역의 단면관찰에 의해 얻어진 폴리머의 메시의 구멍의 평균직경이 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역의 단면관찰에 의해 얻어진 폴리머의 메시의 구멍의 평균직경과는 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 제 1폴리머함유액정영역의 메시의 구멍의 평균직경이 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역의 메시의 구멍의 평균직경보다도 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 제 1폴리머함유액정영역의 메시의 구멍의 평균직경이 0.5∼5㎛의 범위내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역의 메시의 구멍의 평균직경이 5∼100㎛의 범위내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역의 폭이 100㎛이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역의 폭이 200㎛이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역이 폴리머함유액정을 밀봉하기 위한 밀봉부와 접촉하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 제 1폴리머함유액정영역은 상기 밀봉부와 접촉하지 않고 상기 제 2폴리머함유액정영역내부에 위치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 적어도 한쪽이 투명한 1쌍의 기판사이에 액정재료와 프리폴리머재료를 공급하는 공정; 및상기 프리폴리머재료에 광을 조사하여, 해당 프리폴리머재료를 중합반응시켜 중합하는 공정을 구비한 액정표시장치의 제조방법에 있어서,표시영역을 포함하는 제 1영역에 제 1광조사를 행한 후, 상기 제 1영역과 해당 제 1영역이외의 제 2영역에 제 2광조사를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 제 1영역은 상기 액정재료를 밀봉하기 위한 밀봉영역내부에 위치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 11항에 있어서, 상기 제 2영역은 상기 밀봉영역을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광조사와 제 2광조사는 자외선을 이용해서 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광조사는 상기 제 2광조사보다도 높은 조도에서 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 14항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광조사는 20∼150㎽/㎠의 조도에서 행하고, 상기 제 2광조사는 1∼20㎽/㎠의 조도에서 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광조사는 상기 제 2광조사보다도 짧은 조사시간동안 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광조사는 0.5∼120초동안 행하고, 상기 제 2광조사는 50∼3000초 동안 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 의한 액정표시장치를 광원으로부터 광으로 조사하고, 이 액정표시장치로부터의 반사광을 화면상에 투사하여 화상을 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정투사기.
