Claims (15)
- 촉매변환기 상류에 배열된 후기연소기를 갖고, 탄화수소연료를 가진 연소가능한 차지(charge)를 연소하는 기관으로부터 상온시동중 전체적인 배출가스의 감소방법에 있어서, 후기 연소기가 주위온도에 가까운 온도에 있을 때, 후기연소기내에서 배출가스/공기혼합물이 점화가능하고 정상상태 불꽃으로 연소가능하기 위하여, 기관이 점화된 직후에, 충분한 농도를 가진 수소 및 산소의 배출가스/공기혼합물내에 기관의 배출가스가 존재하도록, 과도한 연료를 기관내에서 연소가능한 차지에 가하고, 공기를 가하며, 기관이 점화된 직후 후기연소기내의 배출가스/공기 혼합물을 점화하는 단계로 구성되는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매변환기 매트릭스의 최소한 일부분이 라이트오프 온도에 도달할때까지, 후기연소기내부에서 정상상태의 불꽃을 유지하도록 후기연속기내부에서 점화가 일어난 후, 과도한 연료 또는 부가적 공기를 변화시켜 배출가스/공기 혼합물이 제어되는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 점화시 또는 점화직전에 배출가스/공기 혼합물의 수소함량이 부피로 5%를 넘고, 산소농도가 부피로 최소한 6%인 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 점화후에, 배출가스/공기 혼합물의 수소 농도가 부피로 3%이상 유지되면서 감소되고, 산소농도가 부피로 6% 이상 유지되는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 저농도갑과 고농도값 사이에서 수소농도가 급작스럽게 바뀌도록, 연료공급이 변화되는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 후기연소기내부의 불꽃이 유지되는 시간동안, 점화소스가 연속적으로 작동되는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 크랭킹되는 동안 과도한 연료가 기관에 공급되고 충분한 공기가 배출가스에 가해지는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기관이 첫째 가동될 때, 크랭킹후에만 과도한 연료가 기관에 공급되고 충분한 공기가 배출가스에 가해지는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 촉매변환기 내부의 촉매작용이 개시되도록 정해진 충분한 시간후에, 후기연소기 내부의 불꽃이 꺼지는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기관은 균일한 차지로 스파크점화되는 내연기관이고, 과도한 공기가 배출공기흐름에 직접 첨가되고 기관에 과도하게 농후한 균일혼합물을 공급하여, 배출가스내에 수소가 존재하는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기관은 층을 차지로 작동하는 기관이고, 차치층 형성이 과도하게 농후하고 또 덜 농후한 혼합물농도를 가진 연소챔바 영역내에서 이루어지며, 전자는 수소를 발생시키고,후자는 점화가능한 혼합물을 형성하는데 필요한 산소의 배출체계내에 존재하도록 하는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 연소챔바안으로 직접연료를 주입하므로서 차지층형성이 이루어지는 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기관이 스파크점화기관인 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기관이 압축점화기관인 배출가스의 감소방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기관이 2행정기관인 배출가스의 감소방법.
