Claims (7)
- 액체 성분중 하나가 액적 분산상으로 액체 연속상중에 존재하는 유체 혼합물로부터 상이한 밀도의 액체 성분을 분리하기 위한 고효율 하이드로사이클론으로서, 일단부에 배치된 유입부(22) 및, 유채 혼합물의 선회 운동이 일어나도록 유입부내로 유체 혼합물을 유입하는 유입 수단(20)을 구비하며, 유입부로 개방되는 유입 수단의 평면에서 유입부가 본 명세서에서 정해진 바와 같은 직경(Di)을 갖는 분리실과; 분리실의 일단부에 축방향으로 위치되어 유체 혼합물중 밀도가 낮은 성분을 유출시키는 상승류 유출구와; 유입 수단에 대향된 분리실의 단부에 위치되어 유체 혼합물중 밀도가 높은 성분을 유출시키는 하강류 유출구(16)를 구비하며, 분리실은 큰 경사도의 테이퍼형으로 형성된 제1부분(24)과, 작은 경사도의 테이퍼형으로 형성되거나 거의 원통형으로 형성되어 길게 연장되는 제2부분(26)을 추가로 포함하며, 제1부분은 유입부를 제2부분에 접속시켜 유체 혼합물의 선회 운동을 가속화하는 구간을 제공하며, 제1부분과 제2부분 사이의 전이부는 전이부 또는 그 부근에 형성되고 0.5Di의 직경(Dt)을 갖는 목부분에 의해 구별되며, 상기 목부분에서 시작하여 그로부터 하강류 유출구까지 연장되는 신장된 분리실 부분은 하이드로사이클론의 유효 제한 체류부를 형성하는 길이(Le)를 가지며, 신장된 분리실 부분을 구성하는 모든 부분의 내부 표면적의 합을 신장된 분리실 부분을 구성하는 모든 부분의 내부 체적의 합으로 나눈 비율로서 정의되는 신장된 분리실 부분의 면적 대 체적의 비율(A/V)Le은 가속화된 선회 액체 혼합물의 상기 체류부에서의 체류 시간이 충분히 제한된 단면적과 실질적으로 작은 체적하에서 연장됨으로써 액체 연속상으로부터의 분산상 액적의 분리 효율이 상승되도록 0.2mm-1보다 크게 되며, 유입 수단으로부터 목부분까지의 거리(Lt)는 2.4Di보다 작으며; 길이(Le)는 49DT보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 고효율 하이드로사이클론.
- 제1항에 있어서, Le는 27.2DT보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 하이드로사이클론.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, DT는 8 내지 28mm인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이드로사이클론.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, DT는 20mm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이드로사이클론.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, (A/V)Le는 0.21 내지 0.9mm-1인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이드로사이클론.
