Description
Claims (9)
- 서로 대향하도록 배치되고 전압 인가용의 전극이 부설된 한 쌍의 기판과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 충전된 수지부재와, 상기 한쌍의 기판 사이에 상기 수지부재와 혼합하여 충전되는 액정의 소적과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 분산하여 배치되고 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이의 간격을 소정치수로 유지함과 동시에, 표면부가 액정의 소적과 친화성이 적던가, 상기 수지부재와 친화성이 크던가 적어도 어느 한쪽의 특성을 갖는 스페이서를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서의 표면부는 상기 액정을 물리치는 처리가 시행되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서의 적어도 표면부는 상기 수지부재와 같은 종류의 수지재료로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널.
- 전압 인가용의 전극이 부설된 한 쌍의 기판을 미리 준비하여 두고, 상기 한쌍의 기판중 한쪽의 기판상에 각 기판 사이의 간격을 소정치수로 유지함과 동시에 표면부가 액정의 소적과 친화성이 적던가, 수지부재와 친화성이 크던가 적어도 어느 한쪽의 특성을 갖는 스페이서를 산포하는 공정과, 상기 스페이서가 산포된 한쪽의 기판과 다른 쪽의 기판을 스페이서를 끼운 상태에서 서로 대향시키고, 각 기판 사이에 수지부재와 액정을 혼합하여 충전하는 공정과, 상기 수지부재와 상기 액정의 상분리를 행하는 공정을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서의 표면부에 상기 액정을 물리치는 특성을 갖도록 처리하는 공정을 추가로 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서의 표면부에 액정을 물리치는 특성을 갖도록 처리하는 공정에서는 스페이서의 표면에 불소계 계면활성제를 흡착시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 적어도 표면부가 상기 수지부재와 같은 종류의 재료로 구성되어 있는 스페이서를 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널 제조방법.
- 고분자 분산형 액정패널과, 해당 액정패널에 광을 조사는 광조사 수단과, 상기 액정패널에 전기신호를 인가하는 구동회로와, 상기 액정패널에서 출력되는 광의 패턴을 표시하는 표시수단을 구비한 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 액정패널은, 서로 대향하도록 배치되고 전압 인가용의 전극이 부설된 한 쌍의 기판과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 충전된 수지부재와, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 상기 수지부재와 혼합하여 충전되는 액정의 소적과, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 분산하여 배치되고, 상기 한 쌍의 기판 사이의 간격을 소정치수로 유지하는 동시에 표면부가 액정의 소적과 친화성이 적던가, 상기 수지부재와 친화성이 크던가 적어도 어느 한쪽이 특성을 갖는 스페이서를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항, 제2항 및 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 수지부재는 광경화성 수지로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정패널.
