Abstract

본 발명은 신용거래에 사용하기 위한 카드 및 이를 이용한 신용거래장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 의한 신용거래용 카드는 사용자 확인을 위한 정보를 기록하는 사용자정보영역; 사용자가 오프-라인으로 거래할 수 있는 거래한도에 대한 정보를 기록하는 거래한도정보영역; 및 사용자의 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록하는 다수의 서브영역으로 분할된 거래내역정보영역을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 의하면, 신용카드에 의한 거래를 고객의 신용도에 따라 설정된 사용한도 범위 안에서 오프-라인으로 처리함으로써, 온-라인 거래에 따른 신용카드회사의 호스트시스템에 걸리는 부하를 줄여줄 뿐 아니라 승인거래에 의한 시간지연을 줄일 수 있으며, 또한, 신용에 문제가 있는 불량거래자 또는 연체자 등에 대하여는 카드 내에 별도의 표시를 하여 오프-라인 거래를 금지함으로써, 불량거래자의 오프-라인 사용으로 인한 신용카드회사 및 가맹점의 손해를 최소화할 수 있다.

본 발명은 신용거래에 사용하기 위한 카드 및 이를 이용한 신용거래장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 데이타를 기록독출할 수 있는 IC카드를 신용거래용 카드로 사용하고, 그 카드를 이용하여 호스트시스템과 온-라인(ON-LINE) 또는 오프-라인(OFF-LINE)으로 신용거래할 수 있는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
지금은 카드사회라 불릴 만큼 생활 속에 많은 카드가 범람하고 있다. 대표적인 예로는 플라스틱카드에 자기기록매체를 붙인 자기띠 카드(Magnetic Stripe Card;M/S Card)로서, 은행의 캐쉬카드(Cash Card)와 신용판매회사의 신용카드(Credit Card) 등과 같은 것이 있으며, 이 카드는 자기띠 상에 기록된 디지탈신호를 자기헤드로 읽어 본인인지의 여부를 확인하는 데 사용된다.
IC카드는 플라스틱카드에 마이크로 컴퓨터(Micro Computer)와 메모리(Memory) 등의 IC칩을 포함하는 것으로, 표시장치와 전지 등의 부품을 내장한 것까지 생각되어지고 있다. 이 IC카드는 Integrated Circuit Card의 약자로 ISO에서는 IC카드라고 호칭을 통일하고 있지만 그 밖에 스마트카드(Smart Card), 메모리카드(Memory Card), 또는 칩인카드(Chip-in Card), 인텔리젼트카드(Intelligent Card) 등으로도 불리어진다.
일반적으로 IC카드는 데이타처리용 메모리인 RAM(Random Access Memory)과 프로그램용 메모리인 ROM(Read Only Memory)을 구비한 제어장치, 그리고 데이타용 메모리인 비휘발성 메모리로 구성된다. 비휘발성메모리는 발행자에 대한 정보, 카드사용자에 대한 정보 및 발행자가 서비스를 제공하기 위한 데이타를 저장하고, 제어장치는 RAM에 저장된 데이타와 ROM에 저장된 프로그램에 의하여 비휘발성메모리에 저장된 정보를 독출하거나 기록하여 이용자에게 원하는 서비스를 제공하도록 제어하며, 외부장치에 대해 데이타를 선택적으로 입출력할 수 있다.
종래의 신용카드는 자기띠 카드로 이루어져 있으며, 그 카드에 의한 거래는 현금을 이용하지 않아도 개인의 신용을 카드로 대변하고 거래를 할 수 있지만, 가맹점에서의 거래시 신용판매회사의 호스트컴퓨터와의 온-라인 승인거래 형식을 사용하였다.
종래의 신용거래 과정을 살펴보면, 신용카드 가맹점에서 거래를 하면 가맹점과 거래자에게 거래에 관한 전표가 남고, 가맹점은 나중에 이 전표를 기초로 하여 신용카드회사로부터 미리 계약한 은행에 불입의뢰를 보매고 이용자에게도 은행구좌에서 돈을 찾아 간다는 통지를 보내고, 가맹점에서는 은행으로부터 자동적으로 대금을 지불받는다.
그러나, 이용자가 통지를 받은 경우 전에 구매한 시설에 대해 완전히 잊어버릴 수도 있으며, 거래 전표를 찾는 일도 매우 귀찮은 일이 아닐 수 없다. 또한, 종래에는 카드를 이용한 신용거래에서 온-라인 승인거래 형식을 사용하기 때문에, 가맹점에서 신용카드회사를 온-라인으로 연결하여 이루어지는 신용조회는 시간이 많이 소요되는 문제점이 있었다.
따라서, 본 발명의 제1목적은 데이타 저장 및 독출기능을 구비한 카드를 이용하여 신용카드회사의 호스트시스템과 온-라인 뿐만 아니라 오프-라인으로도 신용거래할 수 있는 신용거래용 카드를 제공하는 데 있다.
본 발명의 제2목적은 데이타 저장 및 독출기능을 구비한 카드를 신용카드로 이용하여 카드사용자의 신용도에 따라 신용카드회사의 호스트시스템과 온-라인으로 또는 오프-라인으로 선택적으로 신용거래할 수 있는 신용거래용 카드를 제공하는 데 있다.
본 발명의 제3목적은 데이타 저장 및 독출기능을 구비한 카드를 신용거래용 카드로 이용하여 신용카드회사의 호스트시스템과 온-라인 또는 오프-라인으로 신용거래할 수 있는 신용거래장치를 제공하는 데 있다.
본 발명의 제4목적은 데이타 저장 및 독출기능을 구비한 카드를 신용거래용 카드로 이용하여 신용카드회사의 호스트시스템과 온-라인 또는 오프-라인으로 신용거래할 수 있는 신용거래방법을 제공하는 데 있다.
상기의 제1목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 의한 신용거래용 카드는,
데이타메모리부와, 상기 데이타메모리부에 대해 데이타를 독출하거나 기록하기 위한 제어부를 구비하는 휴대용 카드에 있어서,
상기 데이타메모리부는 사용자 확인을 위한 정보를 기록하는 사용자정보영역;사용자가 오프-라인으로 거래할 수 있는 거래한도에 대한 정보를 기록하는 거래한도정보영역; 및 사용자의 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록하는 다수의 서브영역으로 분할된 거래내역정보영역을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
상기의 제2목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 의한 신용거래용 카드는,
데이타메모리부와, 상기 데이타메모리부에 대해 데이타를 독출하거나 기록하기 위한 제어부를 구비하는 휴대용 카드에 있어서,
상기 데이타메모리부는 사용자 확인을 위한 정보를 기록하는 사용자정보영역; 사용자의 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록하는 다수의 서브영역으로 분할된 거래내역정보영역; 및 사용자의 신용도에 따라 상기 휴대용 카드에 의한 신용거래를 제한하기 위한 정보를 기록하는 사용제한정보를 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
상기의 제3목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 의한 신용거래장치는,
신용거래를 위한 거래한도 및 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록 및 독출할 수 있는 휴대용 카드; 상기 휴대용 카드에 의하여 신용거래할 수 있는 각 가맹점에 설치되어 중앙처리수단에 연결되며, 각 가맹점에서 상기 휴대용 카드에 의하여 신용거래할 때 상기 휴대용 카드로부터 독출된 거래한도정보에 따라 중앙처리수단과의 온-라인거래 또는 오프-라인거래를 선택적으로 수행하고, 수행된 거래내역에 관한 정보를 자체 및 상기 휴대용카드에 기록하는 단말처리수단; 및 상기 휴대용카드에 의한 신용거래를 관리하는 신용카드회사에 설치되어 모든 신용거래 가맹점의 단말처리수단에 연결되며, 상기 단말처리수단에 의한 온-라인거래 요청에 따라 상기 휴대용 카드에 의한 신용거래를 온-라인으로 처리하고, 상기 모든 단말처리수단에서 처리된 거래내역에 관한 정보를 총괄 관리하기 위한 정보처리수단을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
상기의 제4목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 의한 신용거래방법은,
신용거래를 위한 거래제한에 대한 정보, 거래한도에 대한 정보, 및 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록 및 독출할 수 있는 신용거래용 카드를 사용자에게 발급하는 카드발급과정; 상기 사용자가 가맹점에서 상기 카드에 의하여 거래하는 신용거래과정; 상기 가맹점은 상기 사용자의 거래내역이 상기 휴대용 카드에 기록된 거래한도 내이면 온-라인으로, 그렇지 않으면 오프-라인으로 신용거래를 처리할 것을 결정하는 거래한도확인과정; 상기 가맹점은 상기 사용자의 카드에 오프-라인 거래를 금지하는 거래제한정보가 기록되어 있으면 온-라인으로, 그렇지 않으면 오프-라인으로 신용거래를 처리할 것을 결정하는 거래제한 확인과정; 상기 거래제한확인과정, 및 상기 거래한도확인과정에서 결정된 처리방식에 따라 온-라인으로 또는 오프-라인으로 신용거래를 처리하는 신용거래처리과정; 상기 처리된 거래내역에 대한 정보를 상기 카드, 및 상기 가맹점에 기록하는 처리내역기록과정; 및 상기 가맹점에 기록된 처리내역에 대한 정보를 일괄하여 온-라인으로 신용카드회사에 전송하는 정보전송과정을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
이하에서 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 실시예를 상세히 설명한다.
제1도는 본 발명에 의한 신용거래용 IC카드의 데이타메모리부에 저장되는 정보포맷을 도시한 도면으로, 저장되는 정보의 내용, 각 정보에 대한 데이타의 바이트 수, 및 그 데이타의 형태를 나타낸다.
IC카드의 데이타메모리부는 사용자정보영역(11), 잠금정보영역(13), 거래한도정보영역(15), 오프셋정보영역(17), 및 거래내역정보영역(19)을 포함하여 구성된다.
사용자정보영역(11)은 카드사용자의 주민등록번호, 주민등록주소 등을 포함한 사용자 확인을 위한 일반적인 정보를 기록하여 신용거래에 있어 카드 사용자의 진위여부 확인에 사용된다.
잠금정보영역(13)은 카드에 의한 신용거래를 제한하기 위한 정보가 기록되며, 잠금정보는 IC카드에 의한 온-라인 및 오프-라인 신용거래를 허용하는 잠금해제정보, IC카드에 의한 오프-라인 신용거래를 금지시키기 위한 임시잠금정보, 및 IC카드에 의한 오프-라인 신용거래 뿐만 아니라 온-라인 신용거래도 금지시키기 위한 영구잠금정보로 구성된다. 즉, 신용거래 불량자에 대하여 1바이트로 이루어진 잠금정보를 이용하여 그 카드에 의한 신용거래를 제한할 수 있다.
임시잠금정보는 불량거래자에 대하여 설정되어 오프-라인 거래를 금지시키지만 온-라인 거래는 가능하게 하며, 불량거래자의 거래가 양호해 진 후에는 임시잠금을 해제한다. 영구잠금정보는 상습 불량거래자에 대하여 카드정보 자체를 모두 지워 오프-라인 거래 뿐만 아니라 온-라인 거래 등 당해 IC카드에 의한 신용거래 자체를 금지시킨다.
거래한도정보영역(15)은 고객의 신용도, 거래실적 등에 따라 각 카드사용자에 대해 미리 설정되는 거래한도에 대한 정보로서, 거래한도정보는 일시불 한도금액(151), 할부금 한도금액(152), 전체한도금액(153), 그리고 사용한도횟수(154)에 대한 정보를 포함하며, 현재 IC카드를 사용하여 이루어지는 신용거래를 오프-라인 거래로 실행할 수 있는지, 또는 온-라인 거래로 실행하여야 하는지의 여부를 결정하는 정보로 사용된다.
여기서, 일시불 한도금액(151)은 일정한 기간 동안(보통은 한 달)에 일시불로 거래할 수 있는 거래금액의 한도액에 대해 설정된 정보이며, BCD형태의 데이타로 기록된다. 할부금 한도금액(152)은 할부거래에서 일정 기간별로 납입되어야 할 할부금액의 한도액에 대해 설정된 정보이며, BCD형태의 데이타로 기록된다. 전체한도금액(153)은 일정한 기간 동안에 오프-라인 거래할 수 있는 일시불 한도금액 및 할부금 한도금액의 총액에 대해 설정된 정보이며, BCD형태의 데이타로 기록된다. 그리고, 사용한도횟수(154)는 오프-라인으로 연속적으로 거래할 수 있는 사용횟수에 대해 설정된 정보이며, ASCII형태의 데이타로 기록된다.
거래내역정보영역(19)은 TAG(191), 거래번호(192), 거래날짜(193), 거래시각(194), 가맹점코드(195), 가맹점약칭(196), 승인번호(197), 할부개월수(198), 및 거래금액(199) 등에 관한 정보를 포함하는 영역으로, 하나의 IC카드에 다수의 거래내역정보영역을 구비하고, 각 영역에 사용자가 거래한 내역에 대한 정보가 기록된다.
여기서, TAG정보(191)는 해당 거래내역에 대한 정보가 온-라인으로 호스트시스템으로 전송되었는지의 여부, 온-라인으로 거래하는 경우에 그 신용거래에 대한 승인여부, 기거래된 것에 대한 취소여부, 및 해당 거래가 온-라인 거래인지 또는 오프-라인 거래인지의 여부에 대한 정보를 포함하여 구성되며, ASCII형태의 데이타로 표시된다.
거래번호(192)는 당해 거래에 대한 일련번호에 대한 정보이며, 거래날자(193), 거래시각(194), 가맹점코드(195), 및 가맹점약칭(196)은 거래한 날짜, 시각 및 가맹점에 대한 정보이며, 거래번호(192), 거래날자(193), 거래시각(194), 및 가맹점코드(195)는 BCD형태의 데이타로, 그리고 가맹점약칭(196)은 ASCII형태의 데이타로 표시된다. 할부개월수(198)는 할부거래시의 할부개월 수에 대한 정보이며, 거래금액(199)은 당해 거래된 금액에 대한 정보이며, BCD형태의 데이타로 표시된다.
오프셋정보영역(17)은 거래내역의 기록 및 조회시, 다수의 거래내역정보영역 중에 하나의 영역을 선택하도록 하기 위한 정보가 기록되며, 거래내역의 기록을 위한 제1오프셋정보(171), 및 거래내역의 조회를 위한 제2오프셋정보(172)를 포함한다.
여기서, 제1오프셋정보(171)는 거래시 IC카드에 거래내역을 기록할 때, 다수의 거래내역정보영역 중에 당해 거래내역이 기록될 영역을 선택하도록 하기 위한 정보이며, 제2오프셋정보(172)는 IC카드에 기록된 거래내역을 조회할 때 다수의 거래내역정보영역 중에 조회가 시작될 영역을 선택하도록 하기 위한 정보이며, 이 오프셋정보(171, 172)는 HEXA(16진수) 형태의 데이타로 표시된다.
제2도는 본 발명에 의한 IC카드를 이용한 신용거래를 처리하기 위한 장치의 구성도이다. 처리장치는 신용거래를 위하여 제1도에서 설명된 정보를 포함하는 IC카드(21), 각 신용카드 가맹점에 설치된 단말기(23), 그리고 신용카드회사에 설치되어 신용거래 관련업무 처리를 총괄제어하는 호스트시스템(25)으로 구성된다.
단말기(23)는 IC카드(21)에 의하여 신용거래할 수 있는 각 가맹점에 설치되어 호스트시스템(25)과 연결되며, IC카드(21)에 의하여 신용거래할 때 사용자의 IC카드(21)로부터 독출된 정보에 따라 신용거래를 호스트시스템(25)과의 온-라인 또는 오프-라인으로 선택적으로 수행할 수 있다.
그리고, 단말기(23)에서 수행된 거래내역에 관한 정보는 단말기(23)내의 메모리 및 IC카드(21)의 메모리에 각각 기록된다. 단말기(23)는 저장된 온-라인 및 오프-라인에 의한 거래관련 데이타를 호스트시스템(25)에 일괄하여 온-라인으로 전송한다.
IC카드(21)의 메모리에는 신용거래에 의한 거래내역정보를 저장하고, IC카드(21)에 의하여 온-라인으로 거래할 경우 카드 내에 저장된 거래내역에 대한 정보가 호스트시스템(25)으로 전송되고, 그 전송여부는 TAG정보에 기록된다.
호스트시스템(25)은 IC카드(21)에 의한 신용거래를 관리하는 신용카드회사에 설치되고 모든 거래 가맹점의 단말기(23)에 연결되며, 모든 카드사용자에 관한 정보, 신용거래에 관한 정보 등을 저장하고 있으며, 단말기(23)로부터 전송되는 거래내역에 관한 정보를 저장하고, 단말기(23)에 의한 온-라인거래 요청이 있을 때 IC카드(21)에 의한 신용거래를 온-라인 승인 거래로 처리한다.
제3도는 본 발명에 의한 IC카드를 이용한 신용거래 처리방법의 흐름도이다.
사용자정보, 잠금정보 및 거래한도에 대한 정보가 기록되고, 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록할 수 있는 신용거래용 IC카드를 사용자에게 발급한다(31).
카드 사용자가 가맹점에서 IC카드에 의하여 신용거래하는 경우(32), IC카드에 기록된 거래제한정보 및 거래한도정보에 의하여 그 사용자에 대한 거래형식이 결정된다.
먼저, IC카드에 기록된 거래제한정보를 독출하여(33), 잠금정보가 기록되어 있지 않으면 오프-라인 거래를 수행하고, 임시잠금정보가 기록되어 있으면 온-라인으로만 거래가 수행(36)되며, 영구잠금정보가 기록되어 있으면 온-라인 뿐만 아니라 오프-라인 거래 모두가 수행될 수 없다. 따라서, 잠금정보영역에 임시잠금정보 또는 영구잠금정보가 기록되지 아니한 경우에만 오프-라인 거래가 수행된다.
제33단계에서 거래제한정보에 의하여 오프-라인 거래가 승인되면, IC카드에 기록된 거래한도정보를 독출하고, 독출된 거래한도정보와 사용자의 신용거래내역을 비교하여(34), 처리방식을 결정한다. 즉, 사용자의 거래내역이 거래한도를 초과하지 않으면 오프-라인으로 신용거래를 처리하고(35), 그렇지 않으면 호스트시스템과 연결하여 온-라인으로 신용거래를 처리한다(36).
예를 들면, IC카드의 거래한도정보영역에 일시불 한도금액이 30만원, 할부금 한도금액이 40만원, 전체한도금액이 60만원, 그리고 한도횟수가 10회로 각각 설정된 경우에, 다음의 어느 한 조건에만 해당하면 오프-라인 거래가 금지되고 온-라인 거래가 실행된다.
(1)일시불 거래금액이 30만원을 초과하는 경우
(2)할부 거래금액이 40만원을 초과하는 경우
(3)일시불 및 할부 거래금액의 합이 60만원을 초과하는 경우
(4)오프-라인 거래횟수가 연속으로 10회를 초과하는 경우
가맹점에서 처리된 온-라인 및 오프-라인 거래에 관한 데이타는 사용자의 IC카드 및 가맹점의 단말기에 각각 기록되고(37), 가맹점의 단말기에 기록된 데이타는 온-라인 거래할 때 또는 정기적으로 호스트시스템으로 전송된다(38).
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명에 의하면, 신용카드에 의한 거래를 고객의 신용도에 따라 설정된 사용한도 범위 안에서 오프-라인으로 처리함으로써, 온-라인 거래에 따른 신용카드회사의 호스트시스템에 걸리는 부하를 줄여줄 뿐 아니라 승인거래에 의한 시간지연을 줄일 수 있다.
또한, 신용에 문제가 있는 불량거래자 또는 연체자 등에 대하여는 카드 내에 별도의 표시를 하여 오프-라인 거래를 금지함으로써, 불량거래자의 오프-라인 사용으로 인한 신용카드회사 및 가맹점의 손해를 최소화할 수 있다.

Claims (3)

  1. 데이타메모리부와, 상기 데이타메모리부에 대해 데이타를 독출하거나 기록하기 위한 제어부를 구비하는 휴대용 카드에 있어서, 상기 데이타메모리부는 사용자 확인을 위한 정보를 기록하는 사용자 정보영역; 소정의 기간 동안에 일시불로 신용거래할 수 있는 거래금액의 한도액을 설정한 일시불한도금액에 관한 정보, 소정의 기간 동안에 납입되어야 할 할부금액의 한도액을 설정한 할부한도금액에 관한 정보, 소정의 기간 동안에 거래할 수 있는 일시불 한도금액 및 할부금 한도금액의 총액을 설정한 전체한도금액, 및 연속적으로 오프-라인 거래할 수 있는 사용한도횟수에 관한 정보를 포함하는, 사용자가 오프-라인으로 거래할 수 있는 거래한도에 대한 정보를 기록하는 거래한도 정보영역; 사용자의 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록하는 다수의 서브영역으로 분할되어, 상기 각 서브영역은 당해 서브영역에 기록된 거래내역의 온-라인 전송여부, 온-라인 승인여부, 거래 취소여부 및 온-라인 또는 오프-라인 거래인지의 여부를 표시하는 정보를 포함하는 거래내역 정보영역; 및 정보사용자의 신용도에 따라 상기 휴대용 카드에 의한 신용거래를 제한하기 위하여, 오프-라인에 의한 신용거래를 금지시키기 위한 임시잠금정보, 및 오프-라인 뿐만 아니라 온-라인에 의한 신용거래도 금지시키기 위한 영구잠금정보를 기록하는 사용제한정보를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 신용거래용 카드.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 거래내역의 기록 및 조회시, 상기 거래내역정보영역에 포함된 다수의 서브영역 중에 하나의 서브영역을 선택하도록 하기 위하여, 상기 데이타메모리부에 거래내역을 기록할 때 당해 거래내역이 기록될 거래내역 정보영역 내의 하나의 서브영역을 선택하도록 하기 위한 정보, 및 외부장치에 의하여 상기 데이타메모리부에 기록된 거래내역이 조회될 때 조회가 시작되는 거래내역정보영역내의 서브영역을 선택하도록 하기 위한 정보를 기록하는 오프셋정보영역을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 신용거래용 카드.
  3. 소정의 기간 동안에 일시불로 신용거래할 수 있는 거래금액의 한도액을 설정한 일시불한도 금액정보, 소정의 기간 동안에 납입되어야 할 할부금액의 한도액을 설정한 할부한도 금액정보, 소정의 기간 동안에 거래할 수 있는 일시불 한도금액 및 할부금 한도금액의 총액을 설정한 전체한도금액정보, 및 연속적으로 오프-라인 거래할 수 있는 사용한도 횟수정보를 포함하는, 사용자가 오프-라인으로 거래할 수 있는 거래한도에 대한 정보를 기록하는 거래한도 정보영역, 사용자의 거래내역에 대한 정보를 기록하는 다수의 서브영역으로 분할되어, 상기 각 서브영역은 당해 서브영역에 기록된 거래내역의 온-라인 전송여부, 온-라인 승인여부, 거래 취소여부, 및 온-라인 또는 오프-라인 거래인지의 여부를 표시하는 정보를 포함하는 거래내역 정보영역, 및 정보사용자의 신용도에 따라 오프-라인에 의한 신용거래를 금지시키기 위한 임시잠금정보, 및 오프-라인 뿐만 아니라 온-라인에 의한 신용거래도 금지시키기 위한 영구잠금정보를 기록하는 사용제한정보를 기록 및 독출할 수있는 휴대용 카드; 상기 휴대용 카드에 의하여 신용거래할 수 있는 각 가맹점에 설치되어 중앙처리수단에 연결되며, 상기 휴대용 카드에 의한 신용거래과정에서, 사용자의 거래내역이 상기 휴대용 카드에 기록된 일시불한도 금액정보, 할부한도 금액정보, 전체한도 금액정보 및 사용한도 횟수정보에 따라 거래한도 내이면 오프-라인으로, 그렇지 않으면 온-라인으로 신용거래를 처리하고, 사용자의 카드에 오프-라인 거래를 금지하는 사용제한정보가 기록되어 있으면 온-라인으로, 그렇지 않으면 오프-라인으로 신용거래를 처리하며, 상기 처리된 거래내역에 대한 정보를 상기 카드의 거래내역 정보영역 및 자체 저장수단에 기록하며, 상기 저장수단에 기록된 처리내역 정보를 일괄하여 온-라인으로 중앙처리수단으로 전송하는 단말처리수단; 및 상기 휴대용 카드에 의한 신용거래를 관리하는 신용카드회사에 설치되어 모든 신용거래 가맹점의 단말처리수단에 연결되며, 상기 카드를 각 사용자에 발급하고, 상기 단말처리수단에 의한 온-라인거래 요청에 따라 상기 휴대용 카드에 의한 신용거래를 온-라인으로 처리하고, 상기 모든 단말처리수단에서 처리된 오프-라인 거래내역에 관한 정보를 총괄 관리하기 위한 중앙처리수단을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 신용거래장치.
