Claims (4)
- 알카리 수용액에 산용액으로 중화반응에 의해 저밀도 다공성 실리카겔 분말을 제조하는데 있어서, (a) 실리카 농도가 전체 수용액의 20∼26중량%인 알카리 실리카 수용액과, 산농도가 7∼15중량%인 산용액을 분무 형태로 부분 중화 반응에 의해 pH가 11.6이상으로 유지된 상태에서 반응 혼합물을 제조하는 단계와, (b) 상기 반응 혼합물에 추가로 산용액을 첨가하여 pH 10∼11.4로 조절된 상태에서 실리카 겔 슬러리를 제조하는 단계와, (c) 상기 반응으로 제조된 실리카겔 슬러리를 세척하기 전에 pH 2.5가 될 때까지 산성 용액을 첨가하여 잔존하는 알카리 성분을 제거한 후에, 분리, 세척, 건조 및 분쇄시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 저밀도 다공성 실리카겔 분말을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실리카 겔 슬러리는 기공 크기 및 세공 용적을 조절하기 위해 알카리 분위기하에서 추가로 숙성되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 저밀도 다공성 실리카겔 분말을 제조하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 알카리는 NaOH, NH4OH 또는 NH3가스중 선택 사용하고 알카리 분위기하에서의 숙성은 60 내지 100℃의 온도와, pH 7.5 내지 10.5의 범위에서, 30분 내지 3시간 동안 실시하여서 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 저밀도 다공성 실리카겔 분말을 제조방법.
- 비중이 0.05 내지 0.30g/cc의 비중, 기공 크기가 10 내지 500 Å, 세공 용적이 0.8 내지 3.5g/cc및 비표면적이 200 내지 500㎡/g을 갖는 제1항에 의해 제조된 저밀도 다공성 실리카겔 분말.
