Description
The present invention relates to an irrigator for use in irrigating a nasal cavity.
The nasal irrigator according to the prior art is equipped with a dedicated pump and a water tank, and it takes time and effort to maintain the sanitary aspects of the pump and tank. Since it was not connected to the water supply, it was necessary to prepare for the addition of water each time it was used. The nasal irrigator connected to the water supply according to the prior art is to connect a hose to the tap and adjust the water flow and water pressure using a dedicated cock. In addition, it is not convenient because it requires work to be attached to and detached from the faucet. In addition, the maintenance work on the hygiene aspects such as hoses and cocks took time and effort. A set of hoses and washers with cocks is bulky and difficult to carry. The compatibility of the water faucet is also a problem, and there is a disadvantage that it cannot be used if it does not fit.
An object of the present invention is to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, and to facilitate nasal irrigation preparation work, cleanup work, and maintenance work. Moreover, it is providing the simple nasal cavity washing | cleaning method by running water connected to water supply.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention receives an appropriate amount of water ejected from the shower head by a nasal washer having a water receiving portion from the shower head. The water is guided to the nasal cavity cleaning nozzle through the water conduit, and the nasal cavity cleaning nozzle discharges water into the nasal cavity with an appropriate water pressure. Nasal irrigation can be performed with running water. This realizes improvement in hygiene maintainability and improvement in cleaning efficiency.
As a feature of the water receiving mechanism of the water receiving portion of the nasal irrigator of the present invention, it has a cover portion of a size that roughly matches the size of the entire collection of water jets of the shower head. By pressing the entire shower head spout with an appropriate force, the water spouted from the shower head can be collected and guided to the water conduit. The water pressure in the conduit tube and nasal cavity washing nozzle can be adjusted by adjusting the strength and the area to be pressed against the shower head. A complicated mechanism such as a water pressure adjustment cock is not required, and a simple structure can be provided at low cost. In addition, a nasal spray or a cleaning agent can be put in advance from the water receiving portion to enhance the nasal cavity cleaning effect. An elastic material such as a soft synthetic resin is used for the water receiving portion from the shower head to reduce the transmission of the shaking of the shower head and the shaking of the handle, thereby suppressing the washing nozzle from shaking.
The nasal cavity cleaning nozzle according to the prior art was mainly intended for spraying water into the nasal cavity. It is characterized by its shape and prevents unnecessary water from reaching the inner part of the nasal cavity. Make sure that the middle of the nasal cavity to the nostril can be intensively cleaned. The cleaning nozzle is provided with a plurality of water ejection holes on the side surface having an angle for ejecting water mainly in the lateral direction or the downward direction, and has a protruding pattern on the surface. It is possible to remove or scrape harmful substances such as pollen and dirt by using the catches of the protruding patterns. The cleaning nozzle is replaceable by the user and facilitates hygiene maintenance. By thickening the base of the nozzle, the tip of the nozzle is prevented from being inserted unnecessarily deeply into the nasal cavity. An elastic material such as a soft synthetic resin is used for the portion inserted into the nasal cavity of the washing nozzle to prevent the nasal cavity from being damaged. This cleaning nozzle can be replaced separately from other parts to facilitate hygiene maintenance work.
A water outlet hole is provided on the side surface near the cleaning nozzle for water pressure confirmation. It is possible to judge the internal water pressure by the momentum of the water from the outlet. Accordingly, even when the cleaning nozzle is inserted into the nasal cavity, the cleaning operation can be performed while confirming that the water entering from the shower head maintains an appropriate water pressure. Since the inside of the nasal cavity is difficult to observe with a normal mirror on the washstand, an observation mirror is provided so that the nasal cavity can be easily observed.
The nasal cavity can be cleaned at the same time as taking a bath. Since it is performed when using the shower, it is easy to wash away pollutants and other harmful substances. By providing a simple nasal irrigation method using running water, it becomes easy to maintain the hygienic condition of the nasal cavity. After cleaning the nasal cavity, the nasal cavity cleaner itself can be easily cleaned with shower water. It can be manufactured inexpensively with a simple structure. Easy to carry with simple structure. Combining with a shower head that has a water purification effect such as chlorine removal and vitamin supplementation, it is possible to further improve the quality of nasal irrigation.
