Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent impact sound with a simple structure by providing in an input side rotating member a claw guide part having a circular track with the same diameter as that of an output side rotating member relative to ratchet claws and forming the receiving surface of the guide part for the ratchet claws in an end part from teeth. CONSTITUTION: A disk shaped guide part 19 has a circular track 19A with the same diameter as that of a ratchet gear 29 and is formed integrally with the inner surface of a case 12. A ratchet claw 13 is provided with a receiving surface 18 on its entire length and has an end part receiving surface 18A extending to the end of a teeth part 14. Therefore, upon eccentric movement of the gear, ratchet claws 13A to 13C in a driving area have their teeth part 14 engaged with the ratchet gear 29 because the receiving surface 18 is separated from the circular track 19A. However, the ratchet claws 13 outside the driving area are disengaged from the ratchet gear 29 because the receiving surfaces 18 are engaged with the circular track 19A. Thus, the engagement and disengagement of the ratchet claws can be smoothly carried out and impact sound can be prevented.
