Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the compensation circuit by generating a coefficient of a deviation correction signal of linear approximation from a variable amplifier in a frequency temperature compensation means of a crystal vibrator using a model temperature compensation signal and a deviation compensation signal due to cut-angle error of the crystal vibrator. CONSTITUTION:A temperature information signal detected by a temperature detection section 11 is converted into a digital signal by an A/D conversion section 12 and inputted to a storage section 13. The storage section 13 reads the data of a temperature compensation signal corresponding to said temperature information signal from a ROM storing an average model temperature compensation signal of a frequency temperature characteristic of the crystal vibrator, converts the data into an analog signal again by a D/A conversion section 14 and gives the result to a variable amplifier 15 as a linear coefficient generation section. The amplifier 15 generates a coefficient in approximating the deviation between the model temperature characteristic of the storage section 13 and the frequency temperature characteristic of the individual crystal vibrator in terms of linear function, gives the result to the varactor diode of the voltage controlled crystal oscillation section 16 to compensate the temperature characteristic of the crystal vibrator.
