Abstract
PURPOSE:To make drilling easy and improve dimensional stability after heat treatment favorable, by a method wherein permeability of specific thick glass cloth is made specific by opening the same, to which prepreg obtained by infiltrating thermosetting resin varnish into the same and drying is laminated and hot and press molding is performed by superposing a copper foil upon the same. CONSTITUTION:Thick glass cloth of a thickness of 210-500mum and weight of 250-550g/m<2> is opened, then varnish, for example, of epoxy resin is produced, infiltrated into the glass cloth, dried and then prepreg is obtained. After lamination of a predetermined number of sheets of the prepreg, the hot and press molding is performed by superposing copper foils upon both faces. In this case, as a gap between yarns each of the glass cloth has been made small, a distribution of glass fibers becomes far uniform and impregnation properties and surface roughness also are improved. Therefore, a laminating number of sheets of prepreg can be reduced and a thermosetting resin laminated sheet, which is free from ply separation and provides easy drilling and dimensional stability, can be obtained.
