Abstract
PURPOSE: To irradiate a low beam by lighting a first light source only and to irradiate a travelling beam by lighting a second light source only or by lighting the first light source and the second light source by providing the second light source proximate to a plane facing a projection lens of a shading body. CONSTITUTION: A second light source 8 is provided proximate to a plane facing a projection lens 9 of a shading body 5. When a first light source 3 is lighted, an image in the vicinity of a shading rim 7 of a shading body 6 and light positioned on the shading rim 7 is projected frontward by the projection lens 9, and a low beam is irradiated. When irradiating a travelling beam, light from the second light source 3 is also projected frontward by the projection lens 9, if the second light source 8 is lighted in addition to the first light source 3. Thereby, a headlight for irradiating the travelling beam is not separately required.
