Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform traction control stably in an easy manner by keeping the output toque of an engine in the specified throttle opening constant irrespective of a variation in engine speed. CONSTITUTION:At the time of traction control, zone control at normal operation is cancelled in case of medium and high load areas where a turbocharger 4 or a supercharger 5 is operated, and such control that corresponds to engine speed is carried out. At a low speed area, the turbocharger 4 is made into non-operation, and the supercharger 5 alone is made into a half-operative state when a bypass valve 32 is in a state of being half-opened. At a medium speed range, the turbocharger 4 and the supercharger 5 both are made into the half- operative state. In a high speed range, the turbocharger 4 alone is made into the half-operative state when a bypass valve 22 is in a state of being half-opened and the supercharger 5 is made into a non-operation state.
