Abstract

PURPOSE:To continue the reception and to attain recording even when there is nor residual in a storage device by storing a received data into a storage device memory directly and outputting when it is detected that the residual of a nonvolatile memory storing a received document is a prescribed slight value. CONSTITUTION:A printer 70 prints out a text generated by synthesizing a character code entered from a keyboard 61 and an image data read by a reader 10 or a text sent via a communication control unit 30. Then an operating program of a status monitor is stored in a program memory 23 and started for each prescribed period by a CPU 27 and codes a received document in the program memory 23 by an image compression unit 22 and corrects a data by a bit move unit 24 to expand the result in the image memory 25 and prints it out on the printer 70 when the residual storage amount of a hard disk 50 storing the received document is a designated quantity or below and receives a data.
