Abstract
PURPOSE:To upgrade working efficiency and to obtain an anode plate with a collector protrusion lug part little in its forging defect by using a pair of the collector protrusion lug strips made of lead or lead alloy to grip an upper end of a lattice member or one part of its upper side and next by performing pressure molding to form the collector protrusion lug parts. CONSTITUTION:Collector protrusion lug strips 2A made of lead or lead alloy prior to pressure molding are provided with a layer of low-melting-point solder alloy 4 which is lower in its melting point than lead or lead alloy. Coating of a lead or lead alloy layer is performed for anticorrosion due to a sulfuric acid electrolytic solution on a net made of a metal e.g., copper which is smaller in its resistance than lead or lead alloy and besides large in its mechanical strength, or on a net provided with expand-processing so that a lattice matter 1 is formed. An upper end of this lattice matter 1 is gripped by the collector protrusion lug strips 2a and pressure-molded to form a collector protrusion lug part 2.
