Abstract
PURPOSE:To certainly control extracorporeal circulation apparatus for blood over a long time according to an unmanned system, by providing a transfusion blood amount detecting part and controlling a blood pump on the basis of the output of a pressure transducer. CONSTITUTION:A part of reflux blood is taken out from the vein V of a patient K and again refluxed to the artery A in the body of the patient K through a pump- oxygenator 4. When a perfusion amount is set by a voltage controller 3, the voltage controller 3 supplies reference voltage to the drive motor of a blood pump 2 and, therefore, the blood pump 2 continuously holds the set perfusion amount. When a blood removing amount increases and decreases within a tolerant range, the height of a water column 11 changes and the output of a pressure transducer 13 changes and, therefore, the voltage controller 3 gives the order voltage corresponding to said change to the blood pump 2 to change the emitting amount of said pump 2. When the output of the pressure transducer 13 falls to a predetermined level or less, the voltage controller 3 controls the drive motor of the blood pump 2 so as to reduce the emitting amount in a set mode and, when the cause of blood removing inferiority is removed and the water column H returns to a predetermined level, a perfusion blood amount is again automatically returned to a steady state.
