Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of hardware and to improve the visibility of a target by providing a mass memory wherein the generation of a track is recorded. CONSTITUTION:The data in a buffer memory are read out in synchronism with radar timing, passed through an OR circuit 2, and switched and inputted to a 1st memory 3a or 2nd display memory 3b as generation data on the target. The current generation is considered to has the largest value when a target detection output is inputted first and is updated every time a scan is made. This operation is repeated to new data are rewritten on past data in the display memory. This data is converted by a ROM 4 into an amplitude corresponding to the generation, and converted by a D/A converter 6 into an analog video data, which is displayed on a PPI, thereby displaying data on the moving track from the past to the presence, i.e. track. Consequently, the hardware is reduced in size and the target visibility are improved.
