Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the display of a three-dimensional false clutter image, by storing the clutter data corresponding to respective distance divisions and azimuth divisions, and reading them out synchronously with the radar sweep. CONSTITUTION:On the radar indicator, the clutter data corresponding to respective azimuth divisions and distance divisions are read out from an ROM1 by means of the azimuth sweep signal and the output signal from a distance counter 2 for a video display. Moreover, comparison 4 is performed between the height sweep signal to represent the height angle in the radar scan and the clutter altitute data. When the height sweep signal is smaller than the clutter altitute data, said data is converted 5 into an analog value, and a video signal is generated as a false clutter echo. Accordingly, by introducing said signal to the radar indicator, a three-dimensional false clutter image can be displayed.
