Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a stable generation output effectively by operating a fuel cell keeping its voltage constant, detecting the output current, and supplying fuel and/or oxidizer to get the output current at a set value. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell 10 is operated for generation at a constant voltage, and the output current of the fuel cell 10 is detected. For controlling reformed gas supply quantity to a fuel cell stack 10 to follow the output current of a fuel cell stack, a central controller 18 compares a preset current value with the stack output current value detected by a current measuring device 21, and pumps 3, 5, and fans 7, 15 are controlled based on the difference, so reformed material charge quantity is controlled. A fuel cell power generation system can thus be effectively operated.
