The solid material contg. this compd., therefore, exhibits the remarkable secondary nonlinear optical effect and since the solid material consists of a bar-shaped rigid core part and highly flexible alkoxy chain, the optical material having the excellent compatibility with the liquid crystalline high polymer is obtd.
