Abstract
PURPOSE:To calculate an amount of remaining hot water without increasing the temperature of hot water of a bath and supplement a desired amount of hot water to a bath tub by a method wherein a specified amount of water of which temperature is detected is added, an amount of hot water is calculated from an amount of decreased hot water temperature and then an amount of hot water corresponding to a difference between the desired amount of the predetermined value and the amount of hot water is supplemented. CONSTITUTION:A desired amount of hot water to be accumulated in a bath tub 2 is set in advance by a knob 29 for setting an amount of bath hot water and then a bath automatic switch 25 is turned on. When a predetermined amount of water is fed, a solenoid valve 17 is closed and a three-way changing-over valve 18 is changed over to cause hot water within a bath tub 2 to be circulated. A temperature TW of fed water is measured by a temperature sensor 34. A measurement is continuously performed to calculate a mean water temperature. After the hot water is sufficiently circulated in the bath tub 2, a hot water temperature T2 is measured by a temperature sensor 10 and an amount of hot water Q within the bath tub 2 at the present time is calculated from these measured values. The calculated amount of remained hot water is compared with a desired amount of hot water and a lack amount of hot water corresponding to a difference of both values is supplemented and then an additional boiling is started by the bath hot water circulating and heating unit 4.
