Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a hologram mosaic which has optical characteristics such as a physical diffraction phenomenon and changes its color according to differences in view angle and observation position by using a laser hologram or rotary grating which causes the physical diffraction phenomenon for a base material. CONSTITUTION:A dry plate manufactured by laser holography processing or etching a diffraction grating by using laser light is used to duplicate the mold of a high-hardness model disk or rolling roller, and then softened transparent glass or hard glass is pressed against a base material 1 such as a propylene acid film. Then a strong anticorrosive metallic reflecting film 2 is formed by vacuum or electric plating after the product is cooled, and a protection layer 3 is added lastly to obtain a laser hologram mosaic. Consequently, optical characteristics of unique physical diffraction are obtained, and there is distinctive variation in decoration effect even after long-time use, so this is used widely of the building decoration of an external wall, an internal wall, etc., which requires permanency.
