Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the difference of the output brightness at the center and at the periphery by forming a metallic vacuum evaporation film and making the light reflection rate of the input substrate lower at the center and higher gradually toward the periphery. CONSTITUTION:At the output side of an input substrate 6, or between the input substrate 6 and an input fluorescent screen 8, a metallic vacuum evaporation film 7 is formed. The metallic vacuum evaporation film 7 consists of a metal which can be vacuum-evaporated such as aluminum, nickel, chromium, iron, gold, silver, and the like, or an alloy of them, and the thickness of the metallic vacuum evaporation film 7 is made thicker at the center and thinner gradually to the periphery, in order to make the light reflection rate of the input substrate 6 lower at the center and higher gradually to the periphery. By changing the light reflection rate at the surface of the input substrate 6 at the center and at the periphery, and blackening the periphery, the uniformity of the picture image at the output position can be obtained.
