Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily produce the title oxide powder having large particle diameter by supplying a mixture of a metal oxide having small particle diameter and metal powder into a reaction vessel, and growing the particles by the oxide synthesized by the combustion of the metal powder with the metal oxide as a nucleus. CONSTITUTION:The valve 50 of an oxygen supply pipe 4 and the valve 50 of an LPG supply pipe 5 are opened, and a burner 9 is ignited to dry and deoxidize the inside of the reaction vessel 10. The metal powder of Al, etc., is supplied from a powder feeder 1 along with a carrier gas, and burned. A blower 12 is operated to suck the combustion exhaust gas contg. oxide powder, and the oxide powder is collected by a collector 11. The obtained fine powder of Al2O3 and metallic Al powder are mixed, and the mixture is charged in the powder feeder 1, and then burned in the reaction vessel 10. When the metallic Al powder is burned into an oxide, the particles are grown with the resupplied oxide powder in a flame 8 as a nucleus.
