Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は自動車のトリム取付構造、とくにルー
フトリムとピラートリムとの取付構造に関する。

従来、ルーフサイドレールを覆うルーフトリム
でセンタピラーを覆うピラートリムの上端部を覆
うようにした構造は実開昭54−165913号公報で知
られている。そして、このような構造は一般に例
えば第1図に示すごとくルーフトリム1のセンタ
ピラーと対応する箇所に切欠部2を形成し、この
切欠部2にピラートリムの上端部を挿入してい
た。ところが、ルーフトリム1の切欠部2は、夏
期等温度が高くなると熱膨張のために室内側に湾
曲変形して、ピラートリムとの間に隙間が発生し
て外観を損う欠点があつた。

うことのない自動車のトリム取付構造を提供する
ことにある。

固定されている。なお、20は端部がルーフトリ
ム11に保持された天井内張り材、21はルーフ

6は、略L字形の折曲片17とその背面に三角形
状の突起18とを有し、上記折曲片17は薄肉ヒ
ンジ19(第6図参照)によつてほぼ90゜折曲自
在となつている。上記ピラートリム15の折曲片
17をルーフトリム11の係止溝13に係合し
て、トリム11,15をルーフサイドレール10
およびセンタピラー14に固定すると、上記係合
部16の突起18がセンタピラー14に当接し、
折曲片17は折曲状態で保持される。したがつ
て、ピラートリム15に下方への押下力が作用し
ても、折曲片17と係止溝13との係合が外れる
心配がない。また、温度上昇によりルーフトリム
11が熱膨張で室内側に湾曲変形しても、上記折
曲片17と係止溝13とが係合しているため、ピ
ラートリム15はルーフトリム11と追従して変
形し、ルーフトリム11とピラートリム15との
間に隙間が発生することがない。
