Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower a torque resistance received by a hub in general and also to minimize variations arising from the winding diameter of a magnetic tape by reducing gradually each top part width of projections along a concentric circle of a hub hole on a friction sheet in proportion to the position of said width becoming apart from the center of the hub hole. CONSTITUTION:The friction sheet 17 is put between a lower shell 12 and the magnetic tape 15, and the hub hole 19 is fitted to an end part of the hub 16. Then, the friction sheet 17 is formed on its side of the magnetic tape 15 with the convex projections 18 which are three in a radial pattern from the center of the hub hole 19 with the same angular interval. Each top part width of the projections 18 along a concentric circle around the hub hole 19 becomes narrower in proportion as the distance from the center of said hub hole 19 increases. By this method, the torque resistance of the magnetic tape 15 can be lowered, and the variations of the torque resistance due to the winding diameter of the magnetic tape 15 can be minimized, thus ensuring the smooth travel of the magnetic tape 15.
