Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent oxidation/deterioration and to eliminate degradation caused by oxidation, by coating phosphate over the surface of a molding after compression molding. CONSTITUTION:An intermetallic compound magnetic particles, the base of which is a rare earth metal represented by R-Fe-B (R is Nd and/or Pr, or a part thereof is replaced with one or more types of rare earth elements) and transition metals, and a synthetic resin as a binder are compounded at a specific rate. After compression molding of the above compound, a molding is acquired by curing a binder. The molding surface is brought into contact with phosphate by immersion or spraying in a usual manner for several minutes to several hours at room temperature -100 deg.C then dried. Oxidation/deterioration are thus effectively prevented.
