In recent years, when manufacturing crimped yarn, a method of stretching and simultaneously false-twisting synthetic fiber paper has become widely adopted due to its excellent productivity. The crimped yarn obtained by In the field of so-called woolly fiber splitting, ordinary drawn yarns subjected to false twist processing are used exclusively. However, this method has disadvantages in that productivity is low and processing is performed in a plurality of independent steps, requiring a large amount of labor and time.

In view of these problems, the inventor of the present invention has conducted various studies on a method for performing good fiber splitting subsequent to simultaneous stretching and false twisting, and as a result, has arrived at the present invention. That is, the present invention provides an apparatus for splitting undrawn multi-filament yarns of thermoplastic synthetic fibers into single yarns or fine denier yarns after stretching and simultaneous false twisting, in which a stretching roller is installed downstream of a stretching roller. The invention is characterized in that a beating roller for yarn striking and a multi-segmented guide for splitting fibers are sequentially provided between these rollers from the upstream side.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. The figure is a schematic perspective view illustrating an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a package of undrawn multi-filament yarns made of thermoplastic synthetic fibers, and the package 1 is rotatably held. Reference numeral 2 denotes an unwinding tension relaxation device for holding the multi-filament yarn unwound from the package cage 1 at a predetermined tension, 3 and 4 are yarn guiding guides, 5 is a feed roller, and immediately below the yarn guiding bending guides 6 and 7. A twist setting heater 8 and a false twist spindle 9 are arranged in this order below the twist setting heater 8. 10,11
1 is a yarn bending guide, and 12 is a drawing roller. 1
Reference numeral 3 denotes a stretching roller located on the downstream side of the stretching roller 12 and whose speed is higher than that of the stretching roller 12. Between these rollers 12 and 13, there is a striking roller 14 for thread striking and a fiber splitting roller from the stretching roller 12 side. A multi-segmented guide 16 is provided.

The striking roller 14 may have a cross section other than circular, such as a polygon, star, or ellipse, and may be chamfered at an angle of approximately 1R, and its surface may be surface hardened and 5S. Preferably, the surface roughness is ~15S. If the surface roughness is 15S or more, it will damage the yarn and cause yarn breakage.
If it is less than 5S, slipping will occur and thread separation will tend to worsen. 15 is a drive motor for the striking roller 14. The multi-segmented guide 16 located downstream of the striking roller 14 is preferably shaped like an abacus bead, but is not limited thereto. Reference numeral 17 denotes a comb-shaped thread width regulating guide provided immediately upstream of the stretching roller 13. Reference numeral 18 denotes a winder for winding the split yarn, and reference numerals 19 and 20 denote yarn guiding guides arranged between the stretch roller 13 and the winder 18.

Although the figure shows an example in which the stretching roller 12 is placed at a position where the multi-filament yarn is greatly curved to the side of the beating roller 14, the present invention is not limited to this, and the drawing roller 12 may be arranged at a position where the multi-filament yarn is greatly curved in this way. It goes without saying that it may be arranged, for example, at an upper side position.

In the apparatus constructed as described above, the undrawn multi-filament yarn is unwound from the package 1, from the unwinding tension relieving device 2, through the guides 3 and 4, to the feed roller 5, and from there, between the feed roller 5 and the drawing roller 12. False twisting is performed while being stretched to a predetermined magnification. The false twisted multi-filament yarn is drawn by drawing roller 1.
Stretch roller 13 with faster speed than 2
Depending on the condition, the temperature is 1 to 8 at room temperature under high tension during this period.
The elongation is preferably from 2 to 6%. In this case, the striking roller 14 and the multi-segmented guide 16 are provided between the rollers 12 and 13 as described above. Therefore, the split yarns in contact with the beating roller 14 are struck while being appropriately stretched under high tension, and the entanglement between the split yarns is unraveled, effectively preventing troubles such as yarn breakage. In this case, in order to easily untwist the untwisted tangles generated on the false twisting spindle 9, the distance between the stretching roller 12 and the striking roller 14 is set as large as possible, and the striking roller 14 is It is desirable to have a surface roughness of 5S to 15S.

Further, yarn bending guides 10 and 11 are provided between the false twisting spindle 9 and the drawing roller 12 to bend the multi-filament yarn immediately after leaving the false twisting spindle 9 in a zigzag shape in the range of 30° to 90° for a straining action. It is preferable to give , as it promotes the entanglement prevention effect. The bending guides 10 and 11 are not limited to the two guides shown in this embodiment, but can bend the yarn at the entrance and exit by passing the yarn through one cylindrical guide. You can do it like this.

Next, the yarn separated by the multi-dividing guide 16 is narrowed by the yarn width regulating guide 17, and then taken up by the stretching roller 13, passed through the yarn guiding guides 19 and 20, and wound. Each is wound up by a take-up machine 18.

As explained above, according to the present invention, a stretching roller is disposed downstream of a stretching roller, and a striking roller and a multi-segmented guide are provided between these rollers, thereby achieving simultaneous stretching and false twisting. The obtained crimped yarn has extremely good splitting properties, that is, there is no entanglement between the split yarns, preventing the occurrence of yarn breakage, and it is possible to directly perform the splitting process following the drawing and false-twisting process. It is extremely effective in terms of significantly reducing equipment costs, improving productivity, and increasing work efficiency.
