ド固定具3によつて取外し可能に装着されている
ものである。保護ガード1を取付けるための保護
ガード固定具3以外の軸流送風機自体の各構成
は、通常のものと変らない。すなわち、本例の軸
流送風機を特長づける保護ガード固定具3は、第
4図に示すように略チヤンネル形に形成された脚
固定部4に蝶ナツト5をねじ嵌めすることができ
るねじ棒6を植設してなる簡素な構成のものであ
る。脚固定部4は、ウエブ部7に対し上下に一対
のフランジ部8を対向させ、少なくとも一方のフ
ランジ部8の自由端には内向きに保持片9を、ま
たウエブ部7にはその内側に切り起こしによる弾
性片10を形成してなる。そして、ねじ棒6は脚
固定部4における上側のフランジ部8に外向きに
垂直に植設されているのである。脚固定部4につ
いての、そのウエブ部7とフランジ部8及び保持
片9によつて囲まれる空間は、モータ取付脚2の
断面形状の相似形状で、モータ取付脚2の断面形
状より若干大きい。すなわち、脚固定部4はその
内側部分にモータ取付脚2を受容できるものであ
る。弾性片10は、脚固定部4へのモータ取付脚
2の受入をはばむものであるが、弾性片10をそ
の弾力に抗して押え付けてやれば脚固定部4に対
するモータ取付脚2の嵌め込みは容易である。こ
うしてモータ取付脚2に嵌め込んだ保護ガード固
定具3は、弾性片10の弾力の作用で、モータ取
付脚2に対して相対移動し、フランジ部8の保持
片9と弾性片10とでモータ取付脚2を挾持し、

め、保護ガード1の浮き上りがほとんどなく、結
果的には保護ガード1の深さを浅くすることがで
きるのである。なお、保持片9はフランジ部8の
双方に形成しても良く、また弾性片10について
はばね材をウエブ部7に溶接することによつて構
