The conventional slider of this type was
As described in Publication No. 45449, the slider body and the handle are die-cast or press-molded, and after plating them, they are assembled, and then a spring with a stop claw formed from a leaf spring is installed. The bent and hanging front part of the spring is fitted into a groove provided at the front end of the slider body, and the both sides of the groove are crimped to secure the spring, and the rear part of the spring is pressed onto the shaft of the handle. In addition, a stop claw protruding from the rear portion is inserted into the slider body. The slider with automatic stop device assembled as described above is
When fixing the spring to the plated slider body, both edges of the recessed groove are crimped, so the plating peels off during the crimping process, reducing commercial value and accelerating the formation of rust.
Therefore, in order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, a method was proposed in which the spring with the pull and stop claws was assembled before plating the slider body, etc., and then the plating process was performed, but the plating process caused the spring to attach to the slider body. In addition, there was an inconvenience that resistance occurred to the movement of the stop claw, preventing it from functioning normally.

As described above, the slider with an automatic stop device for a slide fastener according to this invention presses the rear part of the spring with a stop claw onto the shaft of the handle,
The front part of the spring is inserted into a vertical hole in the slider body, the rear wall of the vertical hole is sloped to form a groove continuous in the vertical direction, and the lower end of the rear side wall is provided with a step-shaped notch continuous to the groove. A stop part is provided, the lower part of the front part of the spring inserted into the vertical hole is fitted into the groove, and a hook part formed following the part of the spring that fits into the groove is locked to the lock part. Since the spring can be assembled by simply pushing it into the slider body without crimping the slider body, even if the spring is attached to the plated slider body, the plated body will not be damaged, and it can be installed inside the vertical hole. This not only improves the appearance but also prevents rust from forming. In addition, since the rear wall of the vertical hole is inclined, a groove is provided, and a locking portion is provided continuously to this groove, it is necessary to bend and form the hook portion that locks into the locking portion of the spring. This is achieved by simply extending the front part of the spring in the longitudinal direction and making it wider than the part that fits into the groove, which reduces the bending process by one step and simplifies the process. This can improve durability. Furthermore, since the hook is extended in the longitudinal direction, the width in the front and rear direction when inserted into the vertical hole of the spring can be made thinner, and the vertical hole can be opened as small as necessary, so the slider The strength of the torso can be increased and the aesthetic appearance can be improved. In addition, since the spring is elastically fixed in two places, the hook part and the bent step part, the effective length of the spring is longer, and the vertical movement of the stop claw is smoother, with less fatigue and durability. It greatly improves the performance.
