In order to save this cleaning effort, as shown in FIG. 6, a filter 1 with a catalyst added and a heater 2 for heating the filter 1 are placed in a filter frame 3, and this is attached to the front of the ventilation fan body 4. A method has been proposed in which after oil smoke is captured by the filter 1, the front shutter 6 is closed and the heater 2 is heated to decompose the oil and prevent the blades 6 and the like from getting dirty. In addition, 7 in the figure shows a motor, 8 shows a support member, and 9 shows a rear shutter. (For example,
No. 9-224444) Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the conventional ventilation fan described above, in addition to the filter 1, in order to reduce the pressure loss due to the heater 2 as much as possible, a heating wire whose surface is not coated must be used as the heater. However, there was a possibility that the heater would corrode due to contaminants such as oil smoke. Furthermore, since air existed between the filter 1 and the heater 2, heat transfer was poor, and it took time to raise the catalyst's temperature.

A catalyst 3o that encloses the heating element 29 and decomposes oil is attached to a surface opposite to the heating element 29 and facing the air flow. Insulating layer 2
8, after enameling the substrate 27, placing the heating element 29 in a predetermined position, and performing the enameling treatment again to insulate the substrate 27 and to prevent the heating element 29 from entering the air. Make sure to prevent exposure. Appropriate materials, plate thicknesses, and widths are selected to obtain a resistance value that allows the required temperature to be obtained for the two heating elements. The power cord 31 (

The opening portions are arranged so as to be alternately different. In addition, 32 in the figure is a rear shutter, and 33 is a support member.

Then start exhausting. At this time, the front shutter 26 and rear shutter 32 are also opened electrically or manually. In this state, air containing pollutants generated during cooking is discharged outside to keep indoor air clean. The main body of the exhaust fan is prevented from becoming dirty. When the necessary exhaust is finished, the front shutter 26 is closed, and
energizing the heating element 29 that constitutes the filter 26;
A catalyst 30 for decomposing oil is heated to 200-400°C. Due to this heating, the oil trapped in the catalyst 3o is decomposed,
The waste gas becomes waste gas and is discharged to the outside through the open rear shutter 32.

At the same time, the rear shutter 32 is also closed. In this way, contaminants such as oil smoke are captured and decomposed by the filter 26, so dirt on the ventilation fan body such as the motor 221 and the blades 23 is greatly reduced, and cleaning is almost unnecessary. In addition, an insulating layer 28 is provided on the substrate 27 of the filter.
Since the heating element 29 and the catalyst 30 are integrally attached via the heating element 29, the heat from the heating element 29 is very easily transmitted to the catalyst 30, and a product with excellent thermal efficiency and strong strength can be obtained.

Since the heating element and catalyst are integrated on a metal substrate with holes as a filter via an insulating layer, it is strong and has excellent thermal efficiency, and of course, the dirt on the ventilation system is greatly reduced. This has the effect of eliminating the hassle of cleaning.
