れているセラミツクス基板と、このセラミツクス
基板上にそれぞれガラス窓を有する電気的に分離
された金属キヤツプ内に発光素子と駆動回路用Ｉ
Ｃチツプ及び受光素子と増幅回路用ＩＣチツプを
少くとも装着配線すると共に前記セラミツクス基
板に設けられた接続パツドを介して外部リード線
が装着されてなるフオトユニツトにおいて、前記
送、受信回路にそれぞれ分離したアース回路及び
このアース回路にそれぞれ接続するアース用の外
部リード線の接続パツドを設け、接続パツドの面
積を実質的に拡大させたことを特徴とするフオト
ユニツト。 (2) 二つのアース用の外部リード線が隣接して
