However, if the paint scatters and adheres to the insulator during painting, it can cause electrical problems, so conventionally, when painting near the insulator, extreme care was taken to prevent the paint from scattering. However, since the work was carried out at heights, ensuring personal safety was of primary concern, and paint often spilled over and adhered to the insulators.

Therefore, if the cover were formed into a cylindrical shape and could be placed over one end of the insulator, it would be easier to fit and remove the cover, but the insulator is connected to the arm of the tower at one end and the power line at the other end. Because of this, it is not possible to put a cover over one end of the insulator. Therefore, it is possible to wrap cloth, sheets, etc. around the insulator, but this is almost impossible at high places with poor footing. In view of this, we have further devised a structure that allows the insulator to be wrapped around the insulator when it is put on with a simple operation, and can be removed with a simple operation.

ある。 Hereinafter, an embodiment of the cover according to this invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.A body 1 is formed by bending a fabric made of cloth or a synthetic resin sheet into a cylindrical shape and overlapping both ends thereof. A plurality of bag strips 2 are provided perpendicularly to the direction of both the open mouths at intervals between the upper and lower open mouth edges forming the upper and lower open mouth edges, and a steel wire is arranged in a ring shape within each bag strip 2. A middle rib 3 which is bent and overlapped with each other at both ends is fitted therein, and the overlapped portions of the body 1 and the backbone 3 are aligned with each other, and a split opening 4 is formed by the overlapped portions. is provided over the entire length between both openings,
Moreover, since the body 1 is flexible like cloth, it can be folded and stretched out to its original state, just like a lantern. Further, as shown in the figure, the body 1 has one open opening (the upper part in the figure) narrowed.

However, all of the strings 5 corresponding to the body 1 may be fixed to the body 1. In addition, the string 5 is connected to the opening 4 of the body 1 as shown in the figure.
It is preferable to provide them at symmetrical positions.

When covering the insulator 10 provided in the insulator 10, make sure that the opening on the side where the starting end of the string 5 is securely fastened is facing upward, and shrink the body 1 so that both openings overlap each other. By opening the split opening 4 and fitting it into the insulator 10 from the side, and then removing the opening force of the split opening 4, the spring force of the backbone 3, which is made of steel wire, returns it to its original closed state, and the insulator 10 is If the insulator 10 is suspended as shown in the figure, when you retract it and let go of your hand, it will stretch back to its original state due to its own weight, covering the entire insulator 10, and the string 5 will hang down. The string 5 may be left hanging, but if it becomes tangled with the power transmission line 12 or the like due to the wind, it will take time to clean up, so the end of the string 5 is tied to the steel tower 8. Furthermore, if the insulator is under tension, the body 1 that has been shrunk and fitted will not stretch due to its own weight, so it is sufficient to stretch it with a long stick or the like to cover the entire insulator. One problem here is that if the opening on one side of the fuselage 1 is narrowed as in the embodiment, the fuselage 1 will be supported by the topmost insulator and held without falling, but the fuselage It is also conceivable that the opening of No. 1 is not narrowly constricted. In this case, the open opening of the fuselage 1 on the side closer to the arm 9 of the steel tower 8 can be supported by being supported by the arc horn 11 provided in the insulator 10, so it is not always necessary to open one side of the fuselage 1. There's no need to hold your tongue.

When the end of the string 5 reaches the tied part, the insulator cover is no longer needed, so the cover is removed. At that time, since the string 5 is fixed to the open edge of the upper end of the body 1 and is also fixed along the entire length of the body 1 in the longitudinal direction so as not to shift laterally, the end of the string 5 is tied downward. If you pull it hard to the torso 1
is contracted so that the upper and lower open openings overlap, and when it continues to be pulled further, since the string 5 is provided on the outer periphery of the body 1, a force to tilt it begins to act on the body 1, and the split opening 4 on the outer periphery is moved to the upper end. They open sequentially from the open rim, are removed from the insulator, and fall.

での作業を安全に遂行できるものである。 As described above, the paint adhesion prevention cover for power transmission line insulators according to this invention is made by bending cloth or the like into a cylindrical shape, overlapping both ends to form a body, and providing a split opening along the entire length of the overlapping part. The closed state is maintained by the spring force of the steel backbone fixed to the body, and since the body is formed to be expandable and contractible, the insulator interposed between the tower arm and the power line It can be covered with an extremely simple operation, and after being covered, the split opening is closed by the spring force of the backbone, so it will not open even if it is blown by the wind, and the covered state will be maintained reliably. do. In addition, when removing the cover, you can remove it by simply pulling the string from a distance, so you don't have to wait for the paint to dry completely and then climb up close to the insulator again to remove it one by one, and the painting progresses one by one. Since it can be easily removed during the process, the efficiency of painting can be increased and work at high places can be carried out safely.
