It will be suspended. The drive chain is provided with a chain tension plate to prevent the drive chain from sagging. However, in the past, this chain tension plate was provided for each drive chain.
For this reason, it is necessary to prepare as many chain cladding plates as there are drive chains, and when installing them, not only does it take time and effort to mount each plate independently, but they must also be discarded when they wear out due to contact with the chains. It was a waste of money to replace the chain with a new one.

The purpose of this project is to make it possible to use this chain cladding board again.

1, 1 and an engine 2 installed at the front of the vehicle body.
The power is transmitted via the propeller shaft 3 to a traveling drive section 4 provided at the rear of the vehicle body, and the power is transmitted from the traveling drive section 4 to traveling chain devices 6, 6 configured in left and right chain cases 5, 5. While transmitting the power, each of the running wheels 1 is driven to cause the vehicle body to travel.

This is formed into a wave-like shape so that the number of wave parts 12a, 12a, 12a is the same as the number of drive chains 7. In addition, 12b and 12b are this chain clad plate 12
This chain tension plate is arranged so that the troughs 12b, 12b are located directly below the sprockets 8, 8, and the wavy parts 12a, 12a, 12a support the lower side of each drive chain 7, respectively. 12 will be installed. The chain cladding plate 12 is made of spring steel or nylon-based synthetic resin, and can be inserted into and removed from the chain case 5 from the rear end surface 5' of the chain case 5.

7 is suspended under tension while its lower side is supported by the corrugated portions 12a, thereby preventing it from sagging. And this chain cladding board 1
2, as the drive chain 7 rotates, wear will occur on each wave part 12a, but in this case, since the drive chains 7 are arranged in a staggered manner, the Wear parts m, m, due to contact
m will also occur in staggered positions. After a certain period of use, the abrasion of the worn part m becomes severe and it becomes necessary to replace the chain lining plate 12. However, in this proposal, the chain lining plates 12, 12 may be replaced with the left and right chain cases 5, 5, or Alternatively, if the front and back directions are reversed and the chain is inserted into the same chain case 5, the worn parts n, n, n of the chain tension plate 12 will be formed at positions symmetrical to the original staggered position. This makes it possible to reuse the chain panel 12, thereby doubling its service life.

Furthermore, since the chain cladding can be reused, its useful life can be doubled.
