Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easy initial setting of a copying machine by utilizing a copylyzer to read copying data from a magnetic card so that initial setting of each function is automatically accomplished. CONSTITUTION:An external apparatus of a copyrizer 5 is a copying machine 12. Transmission and reception of data between the copying machine 12 side and the copylyzer 5 are also accomplished with a transmission IC7 as a window. A CPU8 which is the center for controlling initial setting of the machine 12 operates in accordance with the program written in an ROM9. The CPU8, to which the data from the copylyzer 5 is inputted via the IC7, stores once the data in an RAM10, compares the set data up to the present written in the initialize register assigned in another memory in the same RAM10 with the stored data and changes the different part to fresh data. The CPU8 outputs further a set signal to an initialize circuit 11 of each function device according to the content of the initialize register reset in the above-mentioned way. Initial setting of each function device is accomplished by said circuit 11 and copying okay is displayed.
