Reference numeral 1 designates a welding pail pack consisting of an outer cylinder 2 and an inner cylinder 3, and accommodates a loop 4 of welding wire W between them. The wire W should be turned approximately 3600 mm in advance so that it does not twist when pulled out.
The wire W in the loop 4 is twisted in the opposite direction to the twist that occurs when it is pulled out, and the wire W in the loop 4 is constantly trying to expand.
A restraining plate 5 is placed on top of the. Note that this expanding force acts not only upward but also radially outward, so the loop 4 extends toward the outer cylinder 2 and creates a gap between it and the inner cylinder 3 as shown in the figure. Therefore, the inner cylinder 3 may be omitted. 6
is a wire take-out device which has a conical shape and is attached to the upper open end of the outer cylinder 2 by a fastening band 7. At the time of shipment from the factory, there is a disc-shaped lid on the top of the outer cylinder 2 (not shown).
At the welding site, open this lid 9, pull out the wire W from inside, insert the wire into the wire guide hole at the top of the wire take-out device 6, the conduit tube 8, etc., and then take out the wire. Attach to the top as shown.

In other words, it is difficult to check the amount of welding wire remaining in the bail pack and decide when to replace it with the next 11-larger pail pack. In the past, people tended to realize that the pail pack was empty only after the machine had stopped, and then replace it.However, especially in recent years, automation of welding work has progressed, and welding robots and the like have enabled fully automatic and unmanned welding. If welding work is interrupted due to running out of welding wire, it is time consuming to replace the pail pack, pass the welding wire through the conduit tape and torch, and restart the arc. This is not desirable as it reduces work efficiency. Furthermore, it is not good to obtain a good bath weld if welding is interrupted and restarted midway.

Its purpose is to provide a load for bath welding wire in which welding wire is stacked in a loop in a pail pack, and an annular restraining member is placed on the upper end of the loop. The terminal end of the welding wire is guided upward along the barrel of the pail, taken out from inside the holding member, and attached to the upper part of the pail pack.

It is desirable to start feeding wire from the stored pail pack as soon as it runs out. In order to continuously transfer welding wire from one pail pack to another, it is sufficient to weld and join the final end of the wire of the currently used pail pack to the starting end of the wire of a new pail pack, but it is not possible to transfer the welding wire from one pail pack to another by welding the wire end of the current pail pack to the beginning of the wire of a new pail pack. Since the final end of the welding wire is located at the lower end of the stacked loose wires, that is, at the bottom of the pail pack, it cannot be pulled out for joining, and the welding wire cannot be pulled out from pail pack to pail pack. ! Continuation migration was previously impossible.

During pronation, for example, each turn of the wire is given a twist of approximately 360 degrees, and the wire is stacked and stored in a loop shape within the pail pack. As shown in the figure, the wire loop-shaped laminate 4 has its outer circumference in contact with the inner wall of the outer tube 2 of the pale pack, and there is a gap between the inner circumference and the outer wall of the inner tube 3. In the present invention, the terminal end 12'f of the welding wire laminated in this pail pack is guided upwardly from the lower end of the loop-shaped laminate 4 along the inner wall of the outer cylinder 2, and the loop-shaped laminate Pass it between the upper end of the body 4 and the bottom of the annular restraining member 5 that extends over the upper end, take it out from the inside of the restraining member, make it into a spiral shape, arrange it on the inner wall of the outer cylinder 2, and tape the final end with tape 13. In particular, the welding wire in the holding member part is sandwiched between the holding member 5 and the loop-shaped laminate 4, so it is easily bent, but if it is formed into a spiral shape as described above, problems such as bending will occur. do not have. Since the terminal end of the wire above the holding member is pulled out when welding and joining to the starting end of the next pail pack, it is best to provide a margin of 2 loops in the illustrated example. However, when joining the starting end of the wire in the next pail pack after a certain amount of the welding wire in the pail pack has been used, there is room for the end of the wire, so there is no need to be particularly aware of the amount of the end of the wire beyond the holding member. do not have.

As shown in the figure, the final end of the wire in the old pack 1' and the starting end of the wire in the new pack 1'' are joined by butt welding, and the wire portion near the joint is attached to the outside of the old bag 1'. The clamping member 15 attached to the upper end of the cylinder restricts the degree of freedom of the wire when transferring the wire from the old pocket to the new pack, and prevents problems such as kink lines caused by twisting the wire. There is. The clamping part of this clamping member is formed in a U shape, and the wire is clamped through a sponge inside the clamping part.

In this way, the welding wires stacked in the 111 pack are cut through one cycle, and finally, the wire end portion spirally arranged on the inner wall of the outer cylinder 2 is taken out from the pail pack. Next, the welding wire is released from the gripping member 15 and the welding wire is removed from the new pack. The wire introduction hole of the Hungit tube is attached to a supporting member that moves on the rail 17 and is placed in the optimal position according to the condition of the wire being pulled up. ``Automatically moves upward.''No. 11'' When transferring wires from one pack to a new pack, the degree of freedom of the wires can be restricted in addition to the above-mentioned clamping method, adsorption with magnets, or perforated weights such as insulators. Weight 18 (
Various methods can be considered, such as inserting the wire through the dotted line). In any case, the welding wire is twisted, so when the wire is free to some extent during wire transfer, it tries to eliminate the twist and twists in the opposite direction, resulting in tangles.
〃・Ling is easy to occur, so regulating the degree of freedom of the wire is a meaningful measure to realize smooth wire transition. In addition to the above-mentioned rail method, the means for moving the wire introduction hole of the conduit tube 8 may be a method in which the end of the conduit tube is attached to the tip of an arm rotatably provided on a support.

You can exchange old and new items. In this regard, with the conventional technology, in the worst case scenario, the wire passes through the feeding device and cannot be fed, and the bath contact stops and the wire breaks. It is extremely troublesome to pass it through a tube, wire feeding device, welding torch, etc., and if it is an automatic welding device, you have to reset it and start welding. Furthermore, even if the welding wire is replaced with a new pail pack before it is used up, interruption of bath welding is unavoidable.

Representative: Hiroshi Komatsu 4, Agent: 101-5 Date of amendment order: None 6, Number of inventions increased by amendment None Insert the following sentence between lines 6 and 7 on page 11 of the description of contents of the amendment. The above specific example is an example in which the present invention is applied to a load in which a loop of welding wire is housed between the inner tube and the outer tube of a pail pack with a double cylindrical structure. A large-capacity load in which a loop of welding wire is housed between the cylinders and inside the inner cylinder is known, for example, from Japanese Utility Model Application No. 58-71476. A large-capacity load containing a loop of welding wire inside this inner cylinder is housed inside a normal pail pack as shown in Fig. 1, and another pail pack whose outer cylinder is the inner cylinder of the cough pack. Therefore, in order to apply the present invention to this large-capacity load, it is necessary to connect the wire end of the loop body housed inside the inner cylinder and the wire end of the loop body housed between the inner and outer cylinders. When taking out the wire and using it, connect the final end of the wire of the loop body inside the inner cylinder and the starting end of the wire of the loop body between the inner and outer cylinders, and then connect the final end of the wire of the loop body between the inner and outer cylinders. All you have to do is join the starting ends of the wires of other new pail packs. Of course, the final end of the wire of the loop body inside the inner cylinder and the starting end of the wire of the loop body between the inner and outer cylinders can be joined at the time of manufacturing the welding wire charge (when loading the wire). 1
