【発明の詳細な説明】
この発明は缶胴板の切断端が缶内へ露出しないようにす
ると共に、缶胴板を節減し、かつ圧着効果を向上するこ
とを目的とした接着剤を用いた缶のサンドシーム方法に

従来缶のサイドシームは殆んど第3図のようにはぜ合わ
せによつているが、はぜ漬し時に缶胴板のスプリングバ
ックにより板の間隙が多くなり、良い接着状態が得られ
ず、はぜ部の厚さが大きくなると共に、重合巾もコスト
の関係で余り多く採れないので、接着面積も少ないので

しくなく、かつ接合部へ加える加圧力が均等かつ所定の
大きさで及びにくい欠点がある。然るにこの発明は、缶
胴板の一端縁部を外側へ折り曲げて、該部と他端縁とを
重合し、又は前記折り曲げ部を更に折り曲げて該部へ他
端縁を挟着したので、接合部の加圧力は均等かつ十分の
量が5 加えられると共に、材料を節減し、缶内へ切断
面が露出しないなど、上記従来の欠点を解決したのであ
