    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. コアと該コア周面に設けられたプラスチックで構成され
    たクラッドとを有有するプラスチッククラツド光ファイ
    バの端末部において、前記光フアイバ端末部のコア周面
    に設けられたクラッドを除去し、該クラッドの除去され
    たコアの周面に該コアと同程度の硬度を有し、かつ該コ
    アの屈折率より小さい屈折率を有する透明体が被覆され
    てなることを特徴とするプラスチッククラツド光ファイ
    バの端末部。
