Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damages due to a material of intense heat and lengthen the life of a belt by adhering through vulcanization many small pieces on the surface of a base made of unvulcanized rubber. CONSTITUTION:After providing a belt main body 1 through alternately piling a core body 11 and cushion rubber 12, the whole surface of these is covered by means of a heat and abrasion resisting covering rubber 13. As for a block body 9, which covers the whole surface of a conveyance face side of the covering rubber 13 through an interposed body 10, a large number of them are longitudinally juxtaposed on the conveyance side of the covering rubber 13, while from single to plural number of them are laterally juxtaposed. Said body 9 is composed of a base 14, made of unvulcanized rubber, and many small pieces 15. Thus, since no such damage as a dent of burn and the like is sustained, the life of the belt can be lengthened.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a conveyor belt for conveying high-temperature substances, etc., and a method for manufacturing the same, and a primary purpose of the present invention is to improve the heat resistance and abrasion resistance of the conveyor belt, thereby extending the life of the belt. A second object of the present invention is to enable the belt as described above to be manufactured easily and at low cost.

As a conveyor belt, there is a so-called rubber belt which is made up of six bodies made of canvas or the like and cushion rubber arranged alternately and covered with cover rubber. By the way, among these types of conveyor belts, cement clinker
2. For conveying high-temperature substances such as sintered ore, 4 the belt is cooled by spraying water while conveying the high-temperature substance to prevent damage to the belt due to the high heat of the high-temperature substance. However, the above-mentioned measures are not sufficient, and in the past, in cases where the temperature of the high-heat substance is 300 to 500 degrees Celsius, or where the high-heat substance is a red-hot lump, it is difficult to treat the situation continuously even temporarily. Under harsh conditions, such as when the belt is placed on a belt, the high heat of the high-temperature substance may cause damage such as burning dents on the conveying surface of the rubber cover, which shortens the life of the belt. There's a problem.

The present invention solves the above problems, and its first feature is that at least the central part in the width direction on the conveying surface side of the cuckoo rubber covering the six bodies is made of heat-resistant and abrasion-resistant material. The second feature is that it is covered with a large number of small pieces adhered to the cover rubber.
By covering the surface of the base made of unvulcanized rubber with a plurality of small pieces made of a heat-resistant and wear-resistant material and vulcanized and bonded to the base, a block body consisting of the base and the plurality of pieces is formed. After that, by vulcanizing and adhering the back surfaces of the bases of the plurality of block bodies and the conveying surface side of the cover rubber covering the six blocks through an intervening body made of unvulcanized rubber, a large number of small pieces are used. The point is to cover at least the central portion in the width direction on the conveying surface side of the cover rubber.

According to the following example configured as described above, the entire surface of the conveying surface side of the cover rubber Q31 of the belt [11, or at least the widthwise central portion thereof on which the transported objects are mainly placed, is made of a heat-resistant and abrasion-resistant material. Since the large number of small pieces (+51) are covered with an edge, when a high-temperature substance such as cement clinker-1 sintered ore is conveyed by belt fi+, the temperature of the high-temperature substance is 3.
(1) When the temperature is between 00 and 500 degrees, or when the high-temperature substance is a red-hot mass, these may temporarily or continuously cause a bell) (1)
Even under severe conditions such as when the belt is placed on top of the belt, the high heat of the high-temperature substance will not cause damage such as dents in the belt (1), allowing the belt (1) to have a longer lifespan than before. In addition,
During conveyance by belt (1), belt fi+ may be cooled if necessary;
This makes it possible to transport high-temperature substances with a temperature of about 500 to 600 degrees.

As detailed above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, when the belt conveys the high-temperature substance, damage such as burning dents is not caused to the belt due to the high heat of the high-temperature substance, and the belt can have a long service life. The belt can be used in the same way as before. or,
According to the second invention, when manufacturing a belt with small pieces, even when manufacturing various belts with different widths and lengths, the belt can be easily manufactured at low cost, and the adhesive strength of the small pieces can be increased. Moreover, even when a ready-made belt is provided with small pieces, it can be easily performed. The present invention has the above advantages and is a real advantage.

[Scope of Claims] At least the central part in the width direction on the transport surface side of the cover rubber covering the bodies 1 and 6 is covered with a large number of small pieces made of a heat-resistant and wear-resistant material and bonded to the cover rubber. A conveyor belt characterized by Shino. 2. A block body consisting of a base and a plurality of small pieces is constructed by covering the surface of a base made of unvulcanized rubber with a plurality of small pieces made of a heat-resistant and wear-resistant material and vulcanized and bonded to the base. After that, by vulcanizing and adhering the back surfaces of the bases of the plurality of block bodies and the conveying surface side of the cover rubber covering the six blocks through an intervening body made of unvulcanized rubber, a large number of small pieces are used. A method for manufacturing a conveyor belt, characterized in that at least the central portion in the width direction of the conveying surface side of the cover rubber is covered.
