When water-cooling a motorcycle engine, the radiator is generally installed vertically (facing forward) in the front vertical pipe of the vehicle body, in front of the engine mounted at the bottom center of the vehicle body.
The radiator is connected to the engine cylinder and cylinder head through pipes, and cooling water is circulated through the pipe to cool the engine.

In this case, there is an advantage that the radiator is often hit by the wind while the vehicle is running, but if the vehicle is knocked over, the radiator protrudes left and right and is often damaged.

Furthermore, since the radiator is close to the front wheels, mud thrown up by the front wheels easily hits the radiator, which can become clogged with mud and cause insufficient cooling.

In addition, there is a model in which a radiator is mounted forward on the upper part of the front fork, but in this case, the front fork becomes heavy and the steering performance becomes poor.

Similarly, as shown in FIG. 2F, the lower surface of the tank 3 is recessed upward so as to straddle the vehicle body 1, and a wind guide section 12 is provided in the upper part of the front fork 1.

The radiator 9 can be accommodated within the width of the tank 3, and since there is no lateral protrusion, it will not get in the way and will not be damaged even if it is rolled over.

As explained above, the present invention provides a motorcycle equipped with an engine 2 at the lower center of a vehicle body 1, in which a tank 3 is mounted on the front upper part of the vehicle body 1 so as to straddle the tank 3 and a cylinder of the engine 2. A radiator 9, which is vertically placed between the head 8 and formed within the width of the tank 3, is arranged obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 1, and the radiator 9 and the cylinder of the engine 2 are connected to each other. 10
and the cylinder head 8 are connected by a valley pipe 11, so that the running wind flowing from the upper part of the front fork 7 along the lower surface of the tank 1 is circulated from the front side of the radiator 9 to the rear side. Not only can the cooling water be efficiently cooled and the cooling efficiency of the engine can be improved, but also the radiator 9, each pipe 11, etc. can be placed near the engine 2. , maintenance and inspection become easier, and cooling water circulation is improved.
Loss is also reduced, and since the center of gravity of the entire vehicle body is lower when driving, stable driving and stable maneuverability can be improved.

そして、ラジェータをタンクの横巾内に収めることがで

Additionally, the radiator can be housed within the width of the tank and does not protrude to the side, preventing it from getting in the way or being damaged when rolled over.

又、ラジェータが、前輪から遠く高い位置になるので、
前輪で跳上げた泥の付着が少なくなり、泥づまりによる
冷却効果の減少も防げる。
Also, since the radiator is located high and far from the front wheels,
This reduces the amount of mud thrown up by the front wheels and prevents the cooling effect from decreasing due to mud clogging.
