延長を図らねばならないが、従来の高炉炉壁の耐火物補
修方法は、例えばアーマ−・マンホール等を利用して耐
火物吹付は用ノズルを装入し、高炉炉口周辺部の炉壁に
不定形耐火物を吹付け、補修を行っていた。しかしなが
ら、この方法では耐火物吹付は補修範囲は高炉炉口周辺

吹付け、炉壁の補修を行う。該部分の吹付は補修が完了
すればノズ/I/7を引抜き、上記補修時に開口して使
用したマンホール6部分の補修を行う。この場合は第4
図に示す如く、マンホー/1/6の金物内に仕切鉄板1
6を嵌装した後、耐火物15を充填し、盲蓋14を取付
ける。次に上記の補修すべきマンホール6より上段のマ
ンホールから耐火物吹付はノズル8を第1図破線に示す
如く装入し、該ノズル8先端部より先に炉壁の吹付は補
修のため開口使用したマンホール6の炉内側に不定形耐
火物10を吹け、開口部を充填補修する。第1図におい
ては、この場合の耐火物吹付はノズ)v8を炉頂部の大
