Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は管、継手、容器等のプラスチックス中空成形物
の成形方法に関するものである。

従来からロウ、パラフィン等の熱溶融性物質にて芯型を
形成し、該芯型の外周にプラスチックス、成形物を形成
した後、該芯型を加熱軟化せしめることによってプラス
チックス成形体内部より芯型を除去するプラスチックス
中空成形物の成形方法が行われている。しかし該方法に
よれはロウ、バ炭素繊維、セラミック繊維等の無機繊維
強化プラスチックス(FRP)によって中空成形物を成
形する際には無機繊維が芯型に喰い込んで中空成形物内
面が平滑に仕上らなかったり、樹脂の硬化熱によって芯
型が変形、溶融したりして中空成形物内部形状が精度よ
く形成されなかったり中空成形物内面に肌荒れを生じた
りする欠点があった。
形成し、該芯型の外周にプラスチックス、成形物を形成
した後、該芯型を加熱軟化せしめることによってプラス
チックス成形体内部より芯型を除去するプラスチックス
中空成形物の成形方法が行われている。しかし該方法に
よれはロウ、バ炭素繊維、セラミック繊維等の無機繊維
強化プラスチックス(FRP)によって中空成形物を成
形する際には無機繊維が芯型に喰い込んで中空成形物内
面が平滑に仕上らなかったり、樹脂の硬化熱によって芯
型が変形、溶融したりして中空成形物内部形状が精度よ
く形成されなかったり中空成形物内面に肌荒れを生じた
りする欠点があった。
本発明は上記欠点を改良して芯型の表面硬度、強度、耐
熱性等を向上せしめ、もって内面平滑な、かつ内面形状
精度のよいプラスチックス中空成形物を製造することを
目的とし、芯型に熱溶融性物質と充填材との混合物を用
いることを骨子とするものである。

本発明を図に示す一実施例によって説明すれば、芯型(
1)は例えばパラフィン、ロウ、ワックス等の熱111
融物質と、砂、セメント、炭酸カルシウム、ベントナイ
ト、炭素粉、金属粉、無機繊維、炭素繊維、金属繊維等
の充填材とからなる。芯型(1)の軸芯にはバンドヒー
ター(2)が貫通せられる。芯型(1)の外周には八ツ
ドレイアップ法によってFRP成形物(3)が形成され
る。FRP層が硬化したらバンドヒーター(2)に通電
して加熱すると芯型(1)のバンドヒーター(2)の周
りが溶解し、更に第2図に示すようにノズル(4)から
熱風を吠き出させると芯型(1)のバンドヒーター(2
)によって形成された空洞(1)Aを熱風が通り抜けつ
つ芯型(1)を加熱し、芯型(1)全体が軟化してFR
P成形物(3)(管継手)から芯型(1)が取出される
。熱風の代りにスチーム、熱湯、熱油等を空洞(1)
Aに注入してもよい。なお芯型(1)において、熱溶融
性物質と充填材との混合重量比は20 : 80〜70
:30とする。上記範囲以下に充填材が含まれる場合に
は充填材の補強効果が顕著でなく、上記範囲以上に充填
材が含まれる場合には充填材の熱溶融性物質による結着
が不充分で芯型が脆くなってしまう。最適な熱溶融性物
質と充填材との混合重量比は上記範囲内において、熱溶
融性物質と充填材の種類とによって変動する。

材が含まれる場合には充填材の熱溶融性物質による結着
が不充分で芯型が脆くなってしまう。最適な熱溶融性物
質と充填材との混合重量比は上記範囲内において、熱溶
融性物質と充填材の種類とによって変動する。
特に充填材の種類は最適混合重量比に大きく影響する。
例えば充填材のうち比重の大なるものは上記範囲内で充
填材の重量比を比重の小さなものに比して増大させ得、
例えば比重の大なる金属粉では混合重量比は30 :
70〜40:60程度が望ましく、比重の小なる炭酸カ
ルシウムでは混合重量比は60:40〜70:30程度
が望ましく、あるいは充填材のうち粒度の小なるものは
上記範囲内で充填材の重量比を粒度の大なるものに比し
て増大させ得、例えば粒度の小なるベントナイトでは混
合重量比け20:80〜40:’60程度が望ましく、
粒度の大なる砂では混合重量比は40:60〜60:4
0程度が望ましい。

上記範囲内で充填材の重量比を粒度の大なるものに比し
て増大させ得、例えば粒度の小なるベントナイトでは混
合重量比け20:80〜40:’60程度が望ましく、
粒度の大なる砂では混合重量比は40:60〜60:4

本発明は上記構成を有するから芯型において熱溶融性物
質が充填材によって補強され、熱溶融性を保持したまま
で良好な硬度、強度、耐熱性を与えることが可能であり
、もって内面の平滑でかつ内部形状精度の高いプラスチ
ックス中空成形物を得ることが可能となる。

Claims (1)
- 熱溶融性物質と充填材との20 : 80〜70:30
重量比の混合物によって芯型を形成し、該芯型の外周に
プラスチックス成形物を形成した後、該芯型を加熱軟化
せしめることによってプラスチックス成形物内部より芯
型を除去することを特徴とするプラスチックス中空成形
物の成形方法
