Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the mixture of colors of ink when an apparatus is not operated by a constitution wherein the sealing member of a piston sucking ink or air in a head is formed so that it can block up the suction port of a cylinder member in an ink jet printer. CONSTITUTION:At the time when an apparatus is not operated, the tip of each nozzle of a head is covered up tightly by a cap 14, and a piston 19, i.e. a seal 20, is depressed. Then a space 23 is expanded, a valve 8 is closed to generate a negative pressure, and thereby ink of different colors is made to flow from each subtank into a connection tube 13 and an air-bleeding tube 17. When the piston 19 is returned before the space 23 is filled up, that is, in the state of negative pressure, a suction port 21 is blocked up by the seal 20 and thereby the inside of the connection tube 13 is held under the negative pressure. The ink in the space 23 is discharged from a discharge hole 7. Thus, the meniscus of each nozzle is normalize to enable the discharge of ink, while each of the tubes 13 and 17 is sealed separately by a projection member 20B in the lower part of the seal 20, and thereby the mixture of colors of ink is prevented.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a suction device for sucking ink or air from a head of an interjessy printer, and relates to a suction device fK for sucking ink or air from a multi-color head for multicolor printing. A multi-nozzle head capable of printing in a variety of colors is known, much like an interjet planter. This has a configuration in which each independent inkjet nozzle is equipped with a dedicated ink tank. 111wA
Indicated by K1. Head 1 is a separate no-y futanzl-1,1-
A 2tL inkjet nozzle is written in the inkjet nozzle (Zl-41-4F), and each nozzle #*111 discharges ink of the designated color to perform printing. In the figure, reference numeral 2 denotes an inner cap for sealing the tip of the head, that is, the tip of each nozzle, to prevent the tip of the nozzle from drying out and from leaking. The middle pump 2 is connected to a chain 15 whose one end (1%+) is connected to the vacuum pump 4 which is connected to the ink suction device, and the negative pressure ν generated by the pump 4 is used to draw from each nozzle. Suctions ink and releases non-discharge from each nozzle.

However, such a conventional example has the following stupid drawback. In other words, if the cap is left unattended after being removed, each nozzle will be in a continuous state because the tape 3 is connected at the tip, and colors will be mixed due to the diffusion of fkQi/ri, and of course the inside of the nozzle will be mixed. ,moreover? The color mixes even inside the butank@ The present invention was made to solve the above drawback, and there is no color mix of in-I when left alone! ○Pump 12 for the purpose of supplying the hammering stirrup II of the Rudenosl head ○Pump 12 for 1 interposition ○Flexible connection Te grave 15-15D is now connected to Yap 14 through 15D. Each of the protrusions 2OA and 20B is attached to the inner wall of the sealant F.The thickness of the protrusion 20B is 15mm to 15D for the connecting tape and 17mm to 17mm for the air vent tape.

Figure 112 shows that each nozzle tip of the head 15 has a middle diameter 114.
By pressing down the screw 19, ink and air are drawn into the suction cylinder t81. is now spring 22! This figure shows both the state in which the suction is completed and the suction is completed. When the screw cylinder 19 is pushed down and the seal 20 is in the two-point chain position, the air space @25 formed by the inner surface of the valve v9, the valve 9, and the piston/19 swells, exposing the valve 8 and causing a negative impact. Pressure is generated and connection deap 15
Different colored inks from Napter F 5-1-45-4 flow into A to 15D and air vents 717 to 170, respectively. Before the expanded air tl12sP3 is filled with ink, connect it with the air 1125.
When the screw (Y19) is returned to the state where there is a negative pressure inside, the inside of the connecting tape 15~i5D can be maintained in a negative pressure state when the upper protrusion 20~ of the seal 20 passes the suction port 21. can. Here, the escape of T-le 20 shown in 511 is 200 K Grease Full 1! ! If this is done, even when the piston 19 is suddenly raised to the position shown by the solid line in FIG. Negative pressure inside the SD can be maintained. The air remaining in the air hole 25 is discharged from the discharge hole 7 when the screw F is restored. At this point, the outer circumferential surface of the convex strip @ 20B at the bottom of the seal 20 will block the suction port 21 ◎ Since this suction port is blocked while remaining in a negative pressure state, the sub-tank and nozzle, which are at almost atmospheric pressure, will be blocked. After suctioning the ink, the meniscus of each nozzle is normalized, making it possible to eject the ink. Also, even if left in the state shown in Figure 2, all the connecting tapes 15mm to 15D and the air vent tapes 17mm to 17D are connected to the suction port 21.
It is separated from the lower convex portion 208K of 0, and can prevent color mixing of ink.

Further, each suction port 20 may be provided anywhere in the circumferential direction of the cylinder 18, so for example, the
D and the work T-pull taps 17-17D can be approached as shown in Figure 814, and the arrangement of the connecting nape and air vent taps can be put together. In addition, the suction port 21 is directly connected to 0.
5. It is sufficient that the thickness of the lower convex portion 20B of the seal is one thickness per opening, and therefore the sliding resistance of the piston can be sufficiently reduced.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the piston 9-L I
Since the suction port of the 9yf part is closed by EK, it is possible to prevent color mixing of ink when it is left unused, and it is possible to prevent rough Kg.
! Since the four ports can be arranged arbitrarily, the tape arrangement is easy, and there is little sliding resistance of the piston.
