Abstract

PURPOSE:To collect a scraped-up substance with low water content, by a method wherein a scraping-up rotor is arranged on an upper spiral and a dehydrator apparatus equipped with a dehydrating tank and a vibrator is provided to said rotor. CONSTITUTION:A stock material such as sand containing mud thrown into a spiral classifier is classified into a scraped-up substance 13 such as sand with high water content and mud by a lower spiral on a shaft 2 and the scraped-up substance 13 is scraped up upwardly on an inclined tank. On the other hand, mud is mixed with water and precipitated to the bottom part of the tank.
